Աշխարհի ամենագեր կինը՝ Մաիրա Ռոսալեսը, ռեկորդային տեմպով նիհարել է՝  կորցնելով 408 կիլոգրամը: Կնոջ անունը հանրությանը հայտնի դարձավ 2008թ., երբ նրա դեմ քրեական գործ հարուցվեց՝ 2-ամյա զարմիկին սպանելու մեղադրանքով:

Նա ոստիկանությունում խոստովանել էր, որ ոտքը սայթաքել էր և 500 կիլոգրամանոց մարմնով ընկել էր իր քրոջ երկամյա երեխայի վրա, ով տեղում մահացել էր: Մինչդեռ իրականում երեխային սպանել էր քույրը՝ նրան դաժանորեն ծեծելու հետևանքով: Ավելի ուշ դատարանն անեղ ճանաչեց Մաիրային, իսկ նրա քույրը իր իսկ երեխային սպանելու մեսղադրանքով 15 տարվա ազատազրկման դատապարտեց:

Եվ այս պատմությունն էլ հիմք հանդիսացավ, որպեսզի կինը նիհարի, այս պահի դրությամբ նա կորցրել է ավելի քան 400 կիլոգրամ:

Նախօրերին նա մասնակցել է «Пусть говорят» ռեալիթի շոուին, որում ներկայացրել է իր պատմությունը:
