Մերկելը չի փոխել փախստականներին ընդունելու վերաբերյալ իր կարծիքը

Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելը հայտարարել Է, որ Սիրիայից ու Իրաքից փախստականներին ընդունելու վերաբերյալ իր կարծիքը չի փոխվել: Այդ մասին գերմանական կառավարության ղեկավարը հայտնել Է Բեռլինում կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսի ընթացքում:
«Մենք Եվրոպայում հումանիտար պարտավորություններ ունենք փախստականների նկատմամբ, որոնք փախչում են Սիրիայի քաղաքացիական պատերազմից եւ Իրաքում «Իսլամական պետություն» խմբավորումից: Մեր արժեհամակարգը ենթադրում Է, որ մեզ ծանոթ Է կրոնի ազատությունը: Դա նշանակում Է, որ մենք տարբերություն չենք տեսնում քրիստոնեություն դավանող մարդկանց եւ իսլամ դավանող մարդկանց միջեւ, եւ չենք ասում, թե ոմանք մեզ մոտ ապաստանի իրավունք ունեն, իսկ մյուսները՝ ոչ: Դա պետք Է իր արտացոլումը գտնի յուրաքանչյուր եվրոպական պետության քաղաքականության մեջ: Եվ իմ կ արծիքը մնում Է ճիշտ այնպիսին, ինչպիսին այն եղել Է»,-ասել Է կանցլերը:
Ավելի վաղ Մերկելը, որը գլխավորում Է Քրիստոնեադեմոկրատական միությունը (ՔԴՄ), հայտարարել Է, որ «անցած տարիներին» միգրացիոն քաղաքականության մեջ կատարվել են որոշ սխալներ եւ խոստացել Է նվազեցնել փախստականների թիվը երկրում:
2015 թվականին, ըստ ՆԳ նախարարության տվյալների, Գերմանիա են ժամանել 1 միլիոնից ավելի փախստականներ, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
