Ահա թե ինչ եղավ Դանայի դեմքի հետ, երբ նրան ու իր սիրեկանին միասին բռնացրեց վերջինիս կինը

Այն, ինչը մեզ չի սպանում, դարձնում է ուժեղ: Սա կարծես հենց այս պատմության հերոսուհու մասին լինի գրված: Այս սարսափելի պատմությունը Դանա Վուլիչին սովորական գեղեցիկ կնոջից վերածեց ուժի ու կամքի խորհրդանիշի:
28 տարեկանում Դանան երջանիկ լինելու համար ամեն ինչ ուներ՝ ընտանիք, ընկերներ, սիրելի աշխատանք: Սակայն մի ողբերգական երեկո ամեն ինչ փոխվեց նրա կյանքում: Նատալի Դիմիտրովսկայա անունով մի կին, տեսնելով, թե ինչպես է Դանան իր ամուսնու հետ սեթևեթում երեկույթի ժամանակ, որոշել է վրեժխնդիր լինել: Մի գիշեր նա մուտք գործեց Դանայի տուն, քնած Դանայի դեմքին սպիրտ լցրեց ու վառեց աղջկան: Հանցագործին դատապարտեցին 17 տարվա ազատազրկման, իսկ հրաշքով ողջ մնացած Դանայի մարմնի 60%-ը երրորդ աստիճանի այրվածքներ էր ստացել:
Այս դեպքից հետո երկու տարի շարունակ աղջիկը պայքարում էր իր կյանքի համար, և անգամ հիվանդանոցից երկու տարի անց դուրս գրվելուց հետո նրա պայքարը դեռ երկար շարունակվեց:
Բժիշկների որոշմամբ՝ դեմքի և պարանոցի մաշկը հնարավորինս վերականգնելու, ինչպես նաև միջավայրի մանրէներից պաշտպանելու համար Դանան սկսեց դիմակ կրել:
Սակայն սա չէր միակ պատճառը նման դիմակ հագնելու համար: Դանան չէր կարողնաում հայելու մեջ նայել իր սարսափելի սպիներով պատված դեմքին, նա ուղղակի հրաժարվում էր նայել իրականության աչքերին:
Այս ամենով Դանայի դժբախտությունները չավարտվեցին: Կարճ ժամանակ անց նրա մոտ ախտորոշվում է արգանդի քաղցկեղ: Սակայն դժվարություններից կոփված Դանայի կամքն այնքան ուժեղ էր, որ նա նաև այս փորձությունը հաղթահարեց: Այս ամենից հետո Դանայի պատմությամբ սկսեցին հետաքրքրվել լրագրողները, և Դանան տարատեսակ թոք շոուների ու հաղորդումների սիրելի հյուրը դարձավ: Եվ ահա եկավ այն ճակատագրական պահը, երբ տարիներ անց բժիշկները որոշեցին հանել Դանայի դիմակը:
Այդ ժամանակ աշխարհը տեսավ Դանայի նոր դեմքը՝ ուժեղ, համարձակ կնոջ դեմք, որը ուժ է ներշնչում բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր առանց պայքարի հանձնվում են:
