Մեծ Բրիտանիայում 100-ամյա երկարակյացների ռեկորդային թիվ է արձանագրվել

Մեծ Բրիտանիայում, անցած տարվա արդյունքներով, 100-ամյա երկարակյացների ռեկորդային թիվ Է արձանագրվել: Այդ մասին հայտնել Է Միացյալ Թագավորության Ազգային վիճակագրական ծառայությունը:
Ընդամենը ներկայում Մեծ Բրիտանիայում ապրում են 14 հազար 570 հպատակներ, որոնք 100 եւ ավելի տարեկան են: Ընդ որում, 2002 թվականից մեկ դարի սահմանագիծը հաղթահարած բրիտանացիների թիվը կրկնակի մեծացել Է:
«Միացյալ Թագավորությունում ապրում Է 90 եւ ավելի բարձր տարիքի ավելի քան կես միլիոն մարդ: Այս տարիքային խմբում հարյուր տղամարդուն բաժին Է ընկնում 240 կին»,-նշել են Ազգային վիճակագրական ծառայության մասնագետները:
Վերջին տասնամյակի ընթացքում երկու անգամ ավելացել Է 105-ից բարձր տարիքի բրիտանացիների թիվը, եւ այժմ նրանք 850 հոգի են:
Վերջին միտումները խոսում են այն մասին, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայում ակտիվորեն Է ընթանում բնակչության ծերացման գործընթացը: 1974 թվականից բրիտանացիների միջին տարիքը 33,9-ից աճել Է մինչեւ 40 տարի: Այդուհանդերձ, ներգաղթի մակարդակի սրընթաց աճի ֆոնին Միացյալ Թագավորության բնակչությունն այս տարի առաջին անգամ գերազանցել Է 65 միլիոնը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
