ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինն ու Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելը հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում քննարկել են Ուկրաինայում տիրող իրավիճակը ու Սիրիայում սկսված ճգնաժամը:

Կրեմլի մամուլի ծառայությունը փոխանցում է , որ ուկրաինական խնդիրը քննարկվել է նաեւ մինսկյան համաձայնությունների կատարման ուղղությամբ աշխատանքների աշխուժացման համատեքստում: Շեշտվել է կարգավորման թե անվտանգության, թե քաղաքական ոլորտներում ջանքերը սինխրոնիզացնելու նպատակահարմարությունը: Պուտինը հույս է հայտնել, որ ուկրաինական կողմն էլ իր հերթին հակամարտության գոտում զերծ կմնա սադրանքներից ու վերջապես իրական քայլեր կձեռնարկի իր քաղաքական պարտավորությունները կատարելու ուղղությամբ: Մասնավորապես խոսքը համաներման ու սահմանադրական բարեփոխման իրականացման, Դոնբասին իրավաբանորեն ամրագրված մշտական հատուկ կարգավիճակ տրամադրելու, տեղական ընտրություններ անցկացնելու մասին է: Համաձայնեցվել է «նորմանդական ձեւաչափով» տարբեր մակարդակներով հետագա կոնտակտների գրաֆիկը:

Անդրադառնալով Սիրիայի իրադրությանը՝ շեշտել են այդ երկրում մարտական գործողությունների դադարեցման ռեժիմի ապահովման համար համաշխարհային համայնքի ջանքերի համախմբման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ սեպտեմբերի 9-ին ձեռք բերված ռուս- ամերիկյան պայմանավորվածությունների հիման վրա:

Պուտինը նորից շեշտել է , որ ամերիկացի գործընկերները պետք է կատարեն իրենց խոստումները եւ տարանջատեն չափավոր ընդդիմությանը ահաբեկչական խմբավորումներից: Ռուսական կողմը կշարունակի իր ջանքերը , որոնք ուղղված են այդ թվում կայուն հրադադարի ապահովմանն ու Սիրիայում հումանիտար իրավիճակի բարելավմանը:
