Եթե ձեր դեռահաս երեխաները անհանգստանում են իրենց դեմքի պզուկներից, ուրեմն կարող եք հանգստացնել նրանց, քանի որ պարզվում է, որ թեև հիմա դա նրանց բարդույթների հիմնական պատճառն է, այն միջին տարիքում օգնելու է նրանց ավելի երիտասարդ տեսք ունենալ:

Բրիտանացի գիտնականները պնդում են, որ պզուկներ ունեցող մարդկանց մոտ մաշկը ունի հատուկ պաշտպանիչ բջիջներ, որոնք պայքարում են ծերացման դեմ և օգնում են մեծ տարիքում ավելի երիտասարդ տեսք ունենալ:

Ուստի եթե դպրոցական տարիքում ձեզ ծաղրում էին պզուկներ ունենալու համար, ապա վստահ եղեք՝ միջին տարիքում ձեզ ծաղրողները կնախանձեն՝ տեսնելով ձեր երիտասարդ մաշկը:

Այս տեսությունն առաջարկել են Լոնդոնի Քինգի համալսարանի հետազոտողները, ովքեր ուսումնասիրել են թելոմեր կոչվող փոքր կառուցվածքները: Վերջիններս կափարիչների նման կառուցվածքներ են, որոնք գտնվում են քրոմոսոմի ծայրերին, և պաշտպանում են ԴՆԹ-ն վնասվելուց: Այսպիսով՝ ծերանալու հետ համընթաց թելոմերի չափերը փոքրանում են և նույնիսկ վերանում:

Ուսումնասիրությունները ցույց են տվել, որ երկար թելոմերներ ունեցող տղամարդիկ և կանայք կենսաբանորեն ավելի երիտասարդ են, քան նույն տարիքի ավելի կարճ թելոմերներով մարդիկ: Թելոմերներն իրականում այնքան կարևոր են, որ 7 տարի առաջ դրանք հայտնաբերողները Նոբելյան մրցանակ են ստացել:

Քինգի համալսարանի ուսումնասիրության ժամանակ ուսումնասիրվել են 1200 երկվորյակների արյան սպիտակ գնդիկների մեջ թելոմերների քանակը: Մասնակցող 1200 մարդկանցից ¼-ը նախկինում պզուկոտ մաշկ է ունեցել:

Արդյունքում պարզվեց, որ այն մասնակիցները, ովքեր դեռահաս տարիքում մաշկի վրա շատ պզուկներ են ունցել, նրանց մոտ թելոմերներն ավելի երկար էին նույնիսկ այն դեպքում, երբ հաշվի էին առնվել նրանց տարիքների գործոնը:

Պարզվում է՝ որ չափից շատ յուղերի արտադրումը օգնում է երիտասարդ մաշկ ունենալուն:

Գլխավոր հետազոտողներից մեկը՝ բժիշկ Սայմոն Ռիբերոն ասում է. «Մեր բացահայտումները ցույց են տալիս, որ թելոմերներն ավելի երկար էին այն մարդկանց մոտ, ովքեր նախկինում պզուկններով լի մաշկ են ունեցել, և սա նշանակում է, որ այդ մարդկանց բջիջներն ավելի պաշտպանված են ծերանալուց:»

Ուսումնասիրության բոլոր մասնակիցները կանայք էին, սակայն նույն արդյունքը կարող է վերաբերել նաև տղամարդկանց:
