ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարի պաշտոնակատար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը սեպտեմբերի 29-ին Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության վերաբերյալ ելույթ ունեցավ Վաշինգտոնի Կարնեգի հաստատությունում։ Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Հայաստանի ԱԳՆ ղեկավարի հետ հանդիպմանը, որը վարում էր Կարնեգի հաստատության փոխնախագահ Էնդրյու Վեյսը, ներկա էին ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարության, ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի պաշտոնյաներ, առաջատար վերլուծաբաններ, Վաշինգտոնում հավատարմագրված դիվանագետներ։

Իր խոսքում Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը ներկայացրեց Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթությունները, անկախության հռչակումից ի վեր 25 տարիների ընթացքում Հայաստանի անցած ուղին, մի շարք տարածաշրջանային խնդիրների և դրանց լուծման ուղիների վերաբերյալ Հայաստանի մոտեցումները։

ՀՀ արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարն ամերիկյան առաջատար վերլուծաբաններին ներկայացրեց ապրիլին Արցախի դեմ Ադրբեջանի սանձազերծած ագրեսիայի հետևանքները, դրանց հաղթահարման ուղղությամբ Հայաստանի և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրների ջանքերը, ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման գործընթացի ներկա փուլը, ներկայացրեց բանակցային գործընթացի առաջմղման շարունակելու համար անհրաժեշտ պայմանների ստեղծման նպատակով Վիեննայում և Սանկտ-Պետերբուրգում կայացած գագաթաժողովներին ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունները և Ադրբեջանի ապակառուցողական կեցվածքը, պայմանավորվածություններից հրաժարվելու փորձերը:

Պատասխանելով ներկաների բազմաթիվ հարցերին` Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն անդրադարձավ ապրիլյան պատերազմի ընթացքում Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերի կողմից իրականացված միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի կապտագույն խախտումներին, Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությունում Հայաստանի անդամակցությանը, Հայաստան - Եվրոպական միություն համագործակցությանը, հայ-իրանական հարաբերություններին։
