Միգրացիոն քաղաքականության մշակման միջազգային կենտրոնը եւ ՄԱԿ-ի զարգացման ծրագիրը «Աջակցություն Հայաստանին միգրացիայի եւ սահմանների կառավարման ոլորտներում» ծրագրի շրջանակում ստորագրեցին ծրագրի իրականացման վերաբերյալ համագործակցման համաձայնագիր: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը`ՄԱԶÔ ¾ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Բրեդլի Բուզետտոն համաձայնագրի ստորագրման արարողության ժամանակ նշեց, որ ՄԱԶԾ-ը լայնածավալ աշխատանքներ է կատարել ենթակառուցվածքների բարելավման գործում, ինչպես նաեւ գիտելիքների եւ փորձի փոխանակումներ կազմակերպել` առեւտուրը զարգացնելու նպատակով: «Մենք մշտապես աջակցելու ենք Հայաստանին`սահմանների համալիր կառավարման ոլորտում, քանի որ հսկայական փորձ ունենք այդտեղ կուտակված»,-ասաց նա:
Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին գոհունակությամբ նշեց, որ Եվրամիությունը լրջորեն աջակցում է Հայաստանին` տեխնիկական մակարդակում սահմանների կառավարման համակարգի բարելավման ոլորտում: «Տարածաշրջանային հաղորդակցության ընդլայնումն ու բարելավումը Եվրամիության գլոբալ առաջնահերթություններից է, որը դրսեւորվում է Եվրոպական հարեւանության տարածաշրջանի տնտեսության եւ ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացմանն ուղղված խոշոր ներդրումներով»,- հավելեց դեսպանը:
«Աջակցություն Հայաստանին միգրացիայի և սահմանների կառավարման ոլորտներում» ծրագրի թիմիղեկավար Կարել Հոֆսթրայն ասաց, որ 2010 թվականից աշխատելով Հայաստանի կառավարության հետ՝ իրականացվել են բազմաթիվ ծրագրեր: «Ուրախ եմ, որ ԵՄ-ն ֆինանսական միջոցներ է հատկացնում` շարունակելու հաջողված գործունեությունը»,- նշեց նա:
«Աջակցություն Հայաստանին միգրացիայի եւ սահմանների կառավարման ոլորտներում» ծրագիրն ամբողջովին ֆինանսավորվում է Եվրոպական միության կողմից եւ իրականացվում Միգրացիոն քաղաքականության մշակման միջազգային կենտրոնի (ՄՔՄՄԿ) կողմից ` ՄԱԶԾ հետ համագործակցությամբ: Եռամյա ծրագրի ընդհանուր բյուջեն կազմում է մոտ չորս միլիոն եվրո: Առաջիկա 18 ամսում` մինչեւ 2017 թվականի վերջը, ՄԱԶԾ-ն կիրականացնի ծրագրի սահմանների կառավարման բաղադրիչի աշխատանքները բյուջեից հատկացված 880 000 եվրոյի շրջանակում:
