Ադրբեջանում Իրանի նոր դեսպանը` Ջավադ Ջահանգիրզադեն, երեկ ԱՀ նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևին հանձնել է իր հավատարմագիրը: Դատելով նոր դեսպանի անցած ճանապարհից` Իրանն այս անգամ Ադրբեջան է ուղարկել ԻԻՀ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայություններին շատ մոտ կանգնած և ԻԻՀ ազգային ավտանգության որոշակի խնդիրներին ի մոտո ծանոթ մասնագետի:
Ստորև ներկայացված է Ջահանգիրզադեի` ԻԻՀ-ում ծավալած գործունեությունը մինչև դեսպան նշանակվելը.
1987 - 1999 թթ. - ին ԻԻՀ Ազգային անվտանգության ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների կենտրոնում եղել է տնօրեն և փորձագետ
1999 - 2003 թթ. - ին ԻԻՀ Ազգային անվտանգության ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների կենտրոնում եղել է գլխավոր տնօրեն
2004 - 2016 թթ.-ին ԻԻՀ խորհրդարանում եղել է Ուրմիայի (Արևմտյան Ատրպատական նահանգ) ժողովրդի ներկայացուցիչ
2004 - 2016 թթ. -ին եղել է ԻԻՀ խորհրդարանի ազգային անվտանգության և արտաքին քաղաքականության հանձնաժողովի անդամ
2008 - 2016 թթ. -ին եղել է ԻԻՀ միջխորհրդարանական գործադիր խորհրդի անդամ և գլխավոր քարտուղար
2012 - 2013 թթ. -ին եղել է ԻԻՀ խորհրդարանական պատվիրակության անդամ
2012 - 2016 թթ.-ին եղել է իրանա-հնդկական խորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբի նախագահ
2011 -2016 թթ.-ին եղել է Ուրմիայի համալսարանի գիտական խորհրդի անդամ
2013 - 2016 թթ.-ին եղել է ԻԻՀ խորհրդարանի հետազոտական կենտրոնի փոխնախագահ
