Դատելով ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական հակամարտ զորքերի շփման գծում վերջին շրջանում տեղ գտնող զարգացումներից, տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ հակառակորդն ընտրել է առաջնագծում իրավիճակն աստիճանաբար եւ նպատակային սրելու մարտավարություն: Այս մասին հայտարարություն է տարածել ԼՂՀ ՊԲ-ն:
Հայտարարությունում նաեւ ասվում է.
«Դա արտահայտվում է ինչպես հրադադարի պահպանման ռեժիմի խախտման դեպքերի քանակական աճով, այնպես էլ դրանցում կիրառվող զինատեսակների որակական հատկանիշներով:
Հատկանշական է, որ ապրիլյան քառօրյա առճակատումը սանձազերծած ադրբեջանական կողմը, որը վերահաս պարտությունից խուսափելու նպատակով ստիպված էր իր իսկ խնդրանքով եւ երրորդ կողմի միջնորդությամբ մարտագծում վերահաստատել 1994-ի մայիսին եռակողմ համաձայնությամբ ձեռքբերված հրադադարը, կրկին անցել է սադրիչ գործողությունների ոչ միայն հակամարտ զորքերի շփման գծում, այլեւ քարոզչական դաշտում:
Անցած օրերի ընթացքում հակառակորդը կիրառելով տարբեր տրամաչափի հրաձգային զենքեր, այդ թվում` «ԴՇԿ» տիպի գնդացիր, «Սեւ նետ» եւ «Իստիգլալ» դիպուկահար զինատեսակներ ու ՀԱՆ – 17 տիպի նռնականետ, այսօր տարածել է տեղեկություն առ այն, թե իբր հայկական կողմն առաջնագծում կիրառել է 60 մմ-ոց ականանետեր:
ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունն ամենայն պատասխանատվությամբ հայտարարում է, որ ադրբեջանական կողմի տարածած ապատեղեկատվությունը ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան իրավիճակի ապակայունացմանն ուղղված պարզամիտ քարոզչական հնարք»:
