Մենք մեր սեփական ձայնը լսում ենք մի որոշ ձևով, իսկ երբ ինքներս մեզ լսում ենք ձայնագրությամբ՝ ապա դժվարանում ենք նույնիսկ ճանաչել սեփական ձայնը։ Սա շատ տհաճ իրավիճակ է, որին հանդիպում է յուրաքանչյուր մարդ։

Պարզվում է, պատճառը չափազանց պարզ է։ Երբ մենք մեր ձայնը լսում ենք ձայնագրությամբ, ձայնի ալիքները դուրս են գալիս բարձրախոսից և ճամփորդում են օդի միջով և մենք լսում ենք ինքներս մեզ այնպես, ինչպես լսում են մնացած բոլորը։ Սակայն երբ մենք խոսում ենք, ապա լսում ենք սեփական ձայնը երկու եղանակով՝ ներքին և արտաքին։ Սկզբում մենք լսում ենք այն ձայնը որը դուրս է գալիս բերանից (և որը լսում են մյուս մարդիկ). միևնույն ժամանակ մենք լսում ենք այն ձայնը, որը ստեղծվու էձայնալարերին տատանումներից, որոնք ճանապարհրդում են մեր գլխի միջով։ Մեր գլխի ոսկորները հակված են ուժեղացնելու ցածր հաճախականության տատանումները, և հենց այդ պատճառով էլ մեր Ձայնը ավելի ցածր է թվում, քան այն իրականում կա։

Եթե ցանկանում էք լսել Ձեր «իրական» ձայնը, ապա ձայնագրեք ինքներտ Ձեզ կամ ուղղակի ձեռքով փակեք ձախ ականջը և խոսեք։ Եվ մի անհանգստացեք, եթե Ձեր իրական ձայնը տարօրինակ և ծիծաղելի թվա, քանի որ մնացած բոլոր մարդիկ սովոր են հենց այդ ձայնին և չենք նկատում տարօրինակությունը։
