Գերմանիայում շարունակվում են ենթադրյալ ահաբեկչի որոնումները, որի Հեմնիցում գտնվող տանը պայթուցիկ է հայտնաբերվել: 22-ամյա սիրիացուն կասկածում են պայթուցիկի կիրառմամբ ահաբեկչական հարձակում նախապատրաստելու մեջ: Նրան փնտրում են ամբողջ Գերմանիայում: Բնակչությունից ոստիկանությունն արդեն 80-ից ավելի ահազանգ է ստացել, որոնց արժանահավատությունը ստուգվում է: Այս մասին հայտնում է DW-ն:
Հոկտեմբերի 9-ին ոստիկանությունը հայտնել էր, որ նախօրեին կասկածյալին ծանոթ երեք ձերբակալվածներից երկուսն ազատ են արձակվել: Երրորդը արգելափակված է ենթադրյալ հանցագործին հանցակցելու կասկածանքով:
Հոկտեմբերի 8-ին Հեմնիցում հակաահաբեկչական գործողության ընթացքում սիրիացու բնակարանում հայտնաբերվել է մեծ հզորության պայթուցիկ, ինչպիսին օգտագործվել է Փարիզի եւ Բրյուսելի ահաբեկչությունների ժամանակ: Իրավապահ մարմինները հույս ունեն, որ հայտնաբերվածը ահաբեկչի տնօրինած պայթուցիկի հիմնական մասն է:
Տան բնակիչները, որտեղ ապրել է սիրիացին, հատուկ գործողության ժամանակ տարհանվել են: Հոկտեմբերի 9-ի գիշերը, սակայն, բնակիչների մի մասին թույլ են իրենց բնակարաններ վերադառնալ: Մինչեւ հետագա հրանհանգներ ստանալը փակ է միայն այն մուտքը, որտեղ կասկածյալն է ապրել:
