Երբ լսում եք ինչ-որ մեկի ձայնը շատ հաճախ միանգամից սկսում եք պատկերացնել նրան։ Ցանկացած մարդ իր ձայնին այնքան է ընտելացել, որ երբեք ուշադրություն չի դարձնում դրան, սակայն այն շատ բան կարող է պատմել ձեր մասին։

Ձայնը, ավելի ճիշտ կլինի ասել՝ այն բնութագրող հատկանիշները՝ հնչերանգը, ուժը, բարձրությունը, կարող են զրուցակցին ինչ-ինչ տեղեկություններ հուշել ձեր մասին։

Ձայնը հաճախ մատնում է սուտը։ Ենթադրենք դուք խոսում եք (թեկուզ հեռախոսով) մի շատ կարեւոր թեմայի մասին եւ հանկարծ զրուցակցի ձայնը կտրուկ փոխվում է. այն ավելի զրնգուն, հուզված ու բարակ է դառնում։ Այս դեպքում կարելի է հասկանալ, որ դիմացինը մի փոքր վախեցած է եւ հաջորդող մյուս խոսքերը ճշմարիտ չեն լինի։

Աշխույժ ձայնը հուշում է այն մասին, որ դիմացինը ձեր փոխանցած տեղեկատվությունը մեծ հաճույքով է լսում եւ ուրախությամբ ընկալում է այն։ Բայց լինում են դեպքեր, երբ ձեր կենսախինդ ձայնը վկայում է անվստահության եւ ինֆորմացիայի անհուսալիության մասին։

Եթե զրուցակիցը վիրավորված է, ապա նրա ուրախ ձայնը կարող է միանգամից վերածվել շատ ցածր ու «անկենդան» ձայնի։ Իսկ երբ զրուցակիցը հոգնած է, ապա նա խոսում է շատ խուլ ձայնով եւ արտահայտությունների վերջում միշտ իջեցնում ձայնի հնչերանգն ու բարձրությունը։

Հաճախ մարդիկ իջեցնում են ձայնը, երբ խոսում են ինտիմ կամ անձնական թեմաների մասին։ Հետեւաբար, եթե զրուցակիցը ձեզ հետ ցածր ձայնով է խոսում, ապա սա վկայում է այն մասին, որ նա ձեզ վստահում է եւ հավանում է ձեր մարդկային հատկանիշները։

Ի դեպ, ձայնը կարող է նաեւ օգնել ձեզ՝ շրջապատող մարդկանց գրավելու կամ ընդհակառակը՝ վանելու։ Հետազոտությունները ցույց են տվել, որ ցածր, հնչերանգներով հարուստ ձայնը կարող է մեծ ազդեցություն ունենալ մարդկանց վրա՝ գրավելով եւ հմայելով նրանց։ Իսկ միօրինակ, միապաղաղ կամ ռնգային ձայնն ու շվշվացնելով խոսելը կարող են վանել կամ հոգնեցնել զրուցակցին։
