ԵՊՀ մանկավարժության ամբիոնն այժմ կրելու է Գուրգեն Էդիլյանի անունը

ԵՊՀ Հայ բանասիրության ֆակուլտետի Մանկավարժության ամբիոնը հոկտեմբերի 12-ին ամբիոնի հիմնադրման 95-ամյակի կապակցությամբ անվանակոչվեց ամբիոնի հիմնադիր Գուրգեն Էդիլյանի անվամբ: «Գուրգեն Էդիլյանը տաղանդավոր մանկավարժ, հոգեբան էր: Նա մեծ ավանդ ունի մանկավարժության`որպես գիտության, հոգեբանության, դիդակտիկայի, լեզուների դասավանդան մեթոդիկայի զարգացման գործում: Էդիլյանն արժանի է, որպեսզի իր անվամբ կոչվի ՄՊՀ մանկավարժության ամբիոնը, որն ինքն է հիմնադրել»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ`նշեց ԵՊՀ մանկավարժության ամբիոնի վարիչ Նազիկ Հարությունյանը:
Անվանակոչման հանդիսավոր արարողությանը ներկա էին բազմաթիվ ականավոր դասախոսներ և այլ ոլորտների աշխատակիցներ ինչպես Մայր բուհ-ից, այնպես էլ այլ համալսարաններից:
«Սա հիանալի տոն է ոչ միայն բանասիրական ֆակուլտետի, այլև ողջ համալսարանի համար, քանի որ ամբիոնը գրեթե ԵՊՀ-ի հասակակիցն է: Շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս»,-ընդգծեց ԵՊՀ բանասիրական ֆակուլտետի դեկան Արծրուն Ավագյանը:
Անվանի մանկավարժ, հոգեբան, պրոֆեսոր, հասարակական գործիչ Գուրգեն Էդիլյանը ծնվել է 1942թ. հունվարի 18-ին Իջևանում: Սովորել է Ներսիսյան դպրոցում, Գևորգյան ճեմարանում: Ուսումը շարունակելու նպատակով մեկնել է արտերկիր և կրթությունը շարունակել Լայպցիգի, Յենայի, այնուհետև Շվեյցարիայի, Բեռնի համալսարաններում: Դոկտորական ատենախոսություն պաշտպանելով` արժանացել է «Գիտությունների դոկտորի» աստիճանի: Հայրենիք վերադառնալով`աշխատել է այն հաստատություններում, որտեղ սովորել էր: 1921թ. նրան հրավիրել են աշխատելու ԵՊՀ-ում, որտեղ հիմնադրել է Մակավարժության ամբիոնը: Սկզբում եղել է Բանասիրության ֆակուլտետի առաջին դեկան, այնուհետև`մանկավարժության ամբիոնի վարիչ: Գուրգեն Էդիլյանն առաջին մանկավարժ-հոգեբանն էր, ով Հայաստանում դրեց հոգեբանական գիտական մտքի էքսպերիմենտալ ուսումնասիրությունների հիմքերը, ստեղծեց հոգեբանության կաբինետ ու լաբորատորիա և զբաղվեց հոգեկանի ուսումնասիրմամբ և մեկնաբանմամբ:
