Ճիշտ սնվելը ծայրաստիճան կարեւոր է երեխայի ճիշտ աճի ու զարգացման համար . «դատարկ կալորիաները», որոնք պարունակվում են գազավորված ըմպելիքներում ու քաղցրավենիքում, միայն նպաստում են ավելորդ քաշ հավաքելուն ու ճարպակալման զարգացմանը, իսկ առողջարար մթերքերը նպաստում են երեխայի օրգանիզմի նորմալ աճին ու նրա ուղեղի ճիշտ զարգացմանը:

Վուշի սերմեր
Վուշի սերմերը համարվում են ալֆա լինոլենային թթվի աղբյուր, որը լավացնում է գլխուղեղի կեղեւի գործունեությունը, դրա համար էլ այն խորհուրդ են տալիս ներառել յուրաքանչյուր երեխայի ամենօրյա սննդակարգում: Բացի դրանից, որոշ մասնագետներ հավաստիացնում են, որ վուշի սերմերը օգտակար են նաեւ մարսողական համակարգի համար:
Ձկան յուղոտ տեսակներ
Սկումբրիան, թունան, սաղմոնը եւ ձկների այլ տեսակները հարուստ են օմեգա 3 ճարպաթթուներով, որոնք վերահսկում են նեյրոնների գործունեությունը: Իսկ սարդինա ձկնատեսակը ավելի մեծ քանակությամբ B խմբի վիտամիններ է պարունակում՝ մասնավորապես B12, ինչը թույլ է տալիս կանխել դեպրեսիան ու ամրացնել երեխայի նյարդային համակարգը:
