Armenia, China mark 25 years of diplomatic relations

The Armenian and Chinese foreign ministers have exchanged messages to mark the 25th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations.

In his address to Wang Yan, FM Edward Nalbandian highlights the mutual trust and deep respect as keystones of the long-lasting political dialogue. He adds that Armenia highly appreciates the political dialogue and close cooperation within international organizations, as well as the mutual understanding over key regional and international issues, reports the Foreign Ministry’s press service.

For his part, the Chinese official appreciates the sustainably developing diplomatic relations, highlighting the mutual political trust and the tangible results of cooperation in the trade economic and humanitarian sectors.

Describing Armenia as a key partner for China, Mr Wang also expresses his willingness to initiate joint efforts towards strengthening the cooperation between the two countries’ foreign ministries.
