The December beneficiary of “The Power of One Dram” initiative is the “City of Smile” Foundation

5,174,990 drams — this is the result of “The Power of One Dram” initiative for November, which was fully directed to the “AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature” national hackathon co-organizer, “Women in Climate and Energy” (WiCE) NGO. As a reminder, the goal of the hackathon was to promote the development of AI-based tools and solutions that help preserve biodiversity and address local and international challenges in the field.

The entire amount of the “Power of One Dram” initiative for December 2025 will be directed to the “City of Smile” charitable foundation to cover the treatment costs of children with cancer.

According to Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Idram and IDBank’s Communications and SR Department, they are once again partnering with “City of Smile” with faith and strong optimism, confident that through the goodwill of thousands of people, every dram transferred by Idram and IDBank will help children overcome their health challenges. “The purpose of the ‘Power of One Dram’ is to show that even the smallest contribution has a big impact when it unites thousands of people. It is this collective kindness that makes real miracles possible. We believe that public engagement will again allow us to support many more children,” said Tatevik Vardevanyan.

“City of Smile” Foundation Director Esther Demirchyan emphasized: “We highly value our long-standing partnership with IDBank and Idram within the framework of the “Power of One Dram” initiative. Thanks to our cooperation over the years, hundreds of children fighting cancer have been able to receive the best available treatment and care in Armenia, without their families spending a single dram. It is with the support of initiatives like “Power of One Dram” that the “City of Smile” Foundation continues its life-saving mission,” concluded Esther Demirchyan.

As a reminder, to participate in the charitable efforts of “The Power of One Dram,” all payments must be made via the Idram&IDBank app, the online platforms IDBanking.am and banking.idram.am, or through Idram and IDBank terminals. For each payment, the companies will direct one dram to important programs.
