ԵՄ դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Ժոզեպ Բորելը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանի դեմ միության պատժամիջոցների նոր փաթեթում կընդգրկվեն «ռուսական ԶԼՄ-ների շատ ներկայացուցիչներ»։
Նախօրեին Եվրահանձնաժողովը հակառուսական պատժամիջոցների 9-րդ փաթեթի բովանդակության առաջարկներ էր ներկայացրել։ Դրանում, մասնավորապես, ասվում է, որ սահմանափակող միջոցների ներքո կարող են հայտնվել ռուսական չորս հեռուստաալիքներ։ Կընդլայնվի նաև անհատական պատժամիջոցների ցանկը։ Դրանում կընդգրկվեն մոտ 200 ֆիզիկական անձինք և կազմակերպություններ։
«Շատ բան կախված է նրանից, թե ինչպես կարող ենք պատժել ապատեղեկատվություն տարածողներին, ինչպես կարող ենք պատժամիջոցներ կիրառել նրանց դեմ։ Երեկ նոր պատժամիջոցների առաջարկի շրջանակներում Ես առաջարկեցի ռուսական ԶԼՄ-ների անձանց և կազմակերպությունների ցուցակ։ Ռուսական ԶԼՄ - ների շատ ներկայացուցիչներ կհայտնվեն նոր պատժամիջոցների մեջ՝ պատերազմի մասին ոչ հավաստի տեղեկատվություն տարածելու համար», - հայտարարել է Բորելը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Եվրախորհրդարանի արտաքին միջամտությանը հակազդելու հանձնաժողովի նիստում։
Նա նաեւ հավելել է, որ ներկայումս աշխատում է «քաղաքացիական գիտակցության մանիպուլյացիայի համար պատժամիջոցների հորիզոնական ռեժիմի վրա»: «Կորոշեն ԵՄ երկրները, բայց ես աշխատում եմ, որպեսզի նման պատժամիջոցային ռեժիմ առաջարկեմ», - նշել է ԵՄ դիվանագիտության ղեկավարը:
