Թուրքական «Cermikgazetesi.com» կայքՆ ուշագրավ նյութ է հրապարակել, որտեղ անդրադարձել է 17-րդ դարում Թուրքիայի Դիարբեքիր քաղաք այցելած լեհաբնակ հայ ճապարհորդ Սեմեոնին, ով հետաքրքիր հուշեր է թողել քաղաքի մասին: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է ermenihaber.am-ը։
Հա ճանապարհորդը Դիարբեքիրում 2 շաբաթ է մնացել և քաղաքն անվանել է «հայկական Աթենք» և ուշադրություն հրավիրում Դիարբեքիրի պատմամշակութային հարստության վրա։
Հատկապես կենտրոնանալով քրիստոնեական ճարտարապետության և հայ բնակչության վրա՝ Սեմեոնը մանրամասն տեղեկություններ է տրամադրում քաղաքի շուկաների, շինությունների և արհեստների մասին։ Ըստ նրա ՝ մինչև 17-րդ դարի վերջը Դիարբեքիրի տնտեսությունն ամբողջությամբ գտնվում էր հայ բնակչության վերահսկողության տակ։
