Օդագնացության և տիեզերական տարածության հետազոտությունների ազգային վարչությունը (NASA) անվանել է երեք ամերիկացի և մեկ իտալացի տիեզերագնացների անունները, որոնք ընդգրկվել են Artemis հաջորդ տիեզերական առաքելության անձնակազմի կազմում, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը։

Հաջորդ տարի նրանք պետք է իրականացնեն նավերի կցման պատմական ցուցադրություն երկրամերձ ուղեծրում, որի ընթացքում բաց տիեզերքի պայմաններում առաջին անգամ կփորձարկվեն Իլոն Մասկի SpaceX և Ջեֆ Բեզոսի Blue Origin ընկերությունների վայրէջքային մոդուլները։

Հյուսթոնում անցկացված հանդիսավոր արարողության ժամանակ NASA-ի ադմինիստրատոր Ջարեդ Այզեկմանը հայտարարել է, որ Artemis III-ի անձնակազմի կազմում ընդգրկվել են ամերիկացի տիեզերագնացներ Անդրե Դուգլասը, Ֆրենկ Ռուբիոն և Ռենդի Բրեզնիկը, ինչպես նաև իտալացի տիեզերագնաց Լուկա Պարմիտանոն։ Առաքելության մեկնարկը նախատեսված է հաջորդ (2027) թվականի վերջին։

Artemis III առաքելությունը, որը կմեկնարկի այս տարի ավելի վաղ հաջողությամբ ավարտված Լուսնի շուրջ իրականացված կառավարվող թռիչքից և անձնակազմի՝ Երկիր վերադառնալուց հետո, կդառնա ևս մեկ կարևորագույն փորձարկում նախքան 1972 թվականից ի վեր մարդու առաջին վայրէջքը Լուսնի մակերևույթին։

Մարդկանց անմիջական վերադարձը լուսնային մակերևույթ նախատեսված է հաջորդող՝ Artemis IV առաքելության շրջանակում, որի իրականացումը ծրագրված է 2028 թվականին։
