Ճապոնիան պատրաստ է միանալ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Գերմանիայի, Իտալիայի և Ֆրանսիայի նախաձեռնությանը՝ Իրանի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցները վերացնելու վերաբերյալ, եթե վերջինս թափանցիկ կերպով իրականացնի իր միջուկային գործունեությունը։ Այս մասին լրագրողներին հայտնել է Ճապոնիայի վարչապետ Սանաե Տակաիտին, որը պաշտոնական այցով գտնվում է Իտալիայում, հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

«Մեզ հարցում է ուղարկվել, որպեսզի Ճապոնիան միանա չորս երկրների համատեղ հայտարարությանը։ Մենք կմիանանք դրան»,- ընդգծել է նա՝ պատասխանելով լրագրողների համապատասխան հարցին։

Նշենք, որ ավելի վաղ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Գերմանիայի, Իտալիայի և Ֆրանսիայի ղեկավարները համատեղ հայտարարությամբ ողջունել էին Իրանի և ԱՄՆ-ի միջև ձեռք բերված համաձայնագիրը՝ հայտնելով Թեհրանի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցները վերացնելու պատրաստակամությունը, եթե վերջինս թափանցիկ կերպով իրականացնի իր միջուկային գործունեությունը։

Համաձայն հաղորդագրության՝ «Քառյակի» երկրները պատրաստ են չեղարկել պատժամիջոցները՝ ի պատասխան Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրի շրջանակներում նրա հստակ և ստուգելի գործողությունների։ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Գերմանիայի, Իտալիայի և Ֆրանսիայի ղեկավարները նշել են, որ դիտարկում են ԱՄՆ-ի, Իրանի և ԱԷՄԳ-ի հետ համագործակցությունը՝ Թեհրանի կողմից միջուկային զենքի ձեռքբերումը կանխելու համար։

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ-ի, Իրանի և միջնորդ հանդիսացող Պակիստանի պաշտոնատար անձինք հաստատել են Վաշինգտոնի և Թեհրանի միջև համաձայնության ձեռքբերումը։ Այն նախատեսվում է ստորագրել Ժնևում հունիսի 19-ին։ Իրանի ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Քազեմ Ղարիբաբադիի խոսքով՝ 60-օրյա զինադադարի ընթացքում կողմերը քննարկելու են, ի թիվս այլ հարցերի, Թեհրանի միջուկային ծրագիրը։
