«Մեր ժողովուրդը երազում է կուշտ ապրելու և իր երեխաներին լավ պայմաններում տեսնելու մասին»։ Այս արտահայտությունը, ինչպես ենթադրելի է, պատկանում է ԱԺ նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանին։ Գալուստ Սահակյանի գրթե բոլոր հարցազրույցներն էլ համեմված են լինում անմեկնելի ու անզուգական ձևակերպումներով, սակայն այս անգամ ԱԺ նախագահն իրականում ասել է իրականությունը։ Սակայն այստեղ Գալուստ Սահակյանը մի փոքր նրբություն հաշվի չի առել։ Իրականում, բոլոր ժողովուրդները ցանկանում են ապրել կուշտ և հեռանկար տեսնել իրենց սերունդների համար։

Սա շատ նորմալ է, սակայն որևէ շատ թե քիչ հաջողակ, եթե թույլ տրվի ասել, ժողովուրդ նման ստամոքսային երազանքներ չունի, քանի որ կուշտ լինելը չի կարող համապետական նպատակ դառնալ։ Այլ խնդիր է, որ Գալուստ Սահակյանի վարչակարգի նպատակը դարձել է մարդկանց մոտ կուշտ լինելը երազանքի վերածելը։ Սոված ժողովուրդը միշտ էլ հեշտ կառավարելի է, սոված ժողովրդի երազանքները չեն անցնում սեփական ստամոքսից այն կողմ, վերջապես, սոված ժողովրդի աչքում իրեն հաց տվողը մեխանիկորեն դառնում է փրկիչ։ Գուցե սա է ուզում ասել Գալուստ Գրիգորիչը, գուցե պարզապես ուզում է ցույց տալ, որ վերջապես ժողովրդին հաց են տալու։ Դժվար է ասել, սակայն դեռևս հարյուրամյակներ առաջ կործանման եզրին գտնվող Հռոմը բնութագրելու համար ժամանակակիցներից մեկը նշում էր՝ հաց և զվարճանք։

Զվարճանքի պակաս հայաստանյան հասարակությունը կարծես չի էլ զգում, քանի որ նույն Գալուստ Գրիգորիչի հարցազրույցները և ընդհանրապես այն ամենը, ինչ կատարվում է Ազգային ժողովում, վերածվում է համապետական մասշտաբի զվարճանքի։ Մնում է միայն հացի գործոնը։ Այս առումով էլ թերևս Կարեն Կարապետյանի կառավարությունը հարցը կլուծի կամ համենայն դեպս այդպես են մտածում իշխանության կարկառուն ներկայացուցիչները, և դրանով արդեն իսկ կամբողջանա հասարակական դեգրադացիայի այն ամբողջ մեխանիզմը, որը տարիներ շարունակ կերտում են Հայաստանի բոլոր իշխանությունները։

Ցավոք, Գալուստ Սահակյանի այս միտքը բոլորովին էլ նրա հերթական կոլորիտային արտահայտությունը չէ, այլ արտացոլումն այն փաստի, որ հայաստանյան իշխանություններն ամբողջապես կտրված են երկրի իրականությունից և չեն գիտակցում, որ երկրում հացի խնդիրը ընդամենը հետևանքն է բոլոր այն արատավոր երևույթների, որոնք ծնվել է ներկա ու նախկին վարչակարգերի օրոք։
