Ռուսերենը սարքում են երկրորդ պետական լեզու, անգլերենը և չգիտեմ էլ ինչը…Իսկ նորությու՞ն էր, որ հայերս միշտ օտարամոլ ենք եղել ու փորձել ենք Հռոմի պապից էլ կաթոլիկ լինել:
Խորհրդային տարիներին սիբիրներ աքսորվողներից ամենաշատը հայերն են եղել, ամենա-ամենակոմունիստները հայերն են եղել, ամենաշատ բողոքողները, եկեղեցիները քանդողները, պահեստ ու անասնագոմ սարքողները, <<անանիմկա>> գրողները Հայաստանից են եղել՝ իհարկե մեկ շնչի հաշվով: Հայաստանում գրեթե բոլորը նախընտրում էին երեխաներին ռուսական դպրոց տալ, խոսել ռուսերեն: Բարձր պաշտոնների նշանակվում էին հիմնականում ռուսախոսները, բոլոր ցուցանակները ռուսերեն էին, լավագույն դեպքում տակը փոքր, հազիվ երևացող տառերով հայերենը:
Հետխորհրդային տարիներին էլ սկսեց անգլերենի <<հարձակումը>>, անգլերենի <<դարաշրջանը>>…Ու նույնը, գրեթե նույն պատկերը, նույն իրավիճակը…
Հայ գործարարները, գործատուները մինչև հավաքարարը անգլերեն չիմանա, <<միսս տիեզերքի>> կոչման արժանացած չլինի գործի չեն ընդունում…Պետական լեզու՞...Ինչի հայերենը պետական լեզու՞ է…Ինչ-որ ՖԲ-յան գրառումներից, լրատվամիջոցներից, հեռարձակվող հաղորդումներից, զանազան գործիչների, պաշտոնյաների ելույթներից ես դա չեմ զգում…
Չեք նկատե՞լ մեր խոսակցական լեզվում, բարբառներում ինչքան ռուսերեն, թուրքերեն, անգլերեն, պարսկերեն բառեր կա: Նկատե՞լ եք, թե հիմա փոքր՝ 3-4 տարեկան երեխաներն ինչքան հանգիստ, հաճույքով ռուսերեն են արտահայտում իրենց մտքերը, նախընտրում խոսել ռուսերեն կամ անգլերեն…Դա էլ հեռահաղորդումների, մուլտֆիլմերի, համակարգիչների, սմարթֆոնների, պլանշետների խերն է…Իսկ դու՞ք, պետական լեզու…
Մենք ենք պիտոնի բերանը վազող առնետի, ճագարի նման հիպնոսացած ու հաճույքով գնում…
Սովորելու շատ բան ունենք հարևան Վրաստանից, երբ նույնիսկ խորհրդային տոտալիտար տարիներին, գերիշխողը միայն ու միայն վրացերենն էր: Ցուցանակները միայն ու միայն վրացերեն էր կամ հազվադեպ տակը՝ խոշորացույցով երևացող ռուսերեն…Հիմա էլ նույնն է անգլերենի հանդեպ…Այնպես, որ մենք ենք մեղավոր՝ բոլորս… Ու հերիք է նվնվաք, առաջին հերթին ձեզ նայեք ու ձեր արածներին ու նոր արդեն պահանջեք…Հա՛, հասկանում եմ, պահանջելը հեշտ է, բայց նախ ձեր ոսկեղենիկ մայրենիին տիրապետեք…
