Արմեն Իսրայելյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
Իսրայելի վարչապետի այցն Ադրբեջան Իրանի համար նաև օգտակար էր, քանի որ դա իրանական կողմին նախ հնարավորություն տվեց գնահատել Իսրայել-Ադրբեջան համագործակցությունից սպասվող հնարավոր ռիսկերը, իսկ մյուս կողմից Բաքուն Իրանին հնարավորություն տվեց ազատ և անկաշկանդ արտահայտվել Ադրբեջանի քաղաքականության մասին:
Այս առումով Իրանի պաշտպանության նախարարը բավականին ուշագրավ բացահայտում է արել: Նախորդ տարի, երբ իսրայելական անօդաչու ինքնաթիռները մուտք էին գործել Իրանի տարածք, Իլհամ Ալիևն ամեն կերպ փորձել է հերքել այդ փաստը, բայց ինչպես փաստում է Իրանի պաշտպանության նախարարը՝ «ես անձամբ գնացել եմ և նրա հետ զրուցել»:
Պատկերավոր ասած՝ Իլհամ Ալիևն Իրանի ՊՆ ղեկավարի հետ հանդիպմանը փորձել է «սատանի մայլեն քյանդրբազություն անել, բայց չի ստացվել»:
Իրանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խնդիրներն այնքան խորն են, որ պատկերավոր ասած դրանք կլուծվեն միայն այն դեպքում, երբ Ադրբեջանը դառնա իսլամական հանրապետություն, իսկ մինչ այդ Իլհամ Ալիևն իր իշխանությունը չկորցնելու համար մի կողմից պետք է բավարարի Իսրայելի ու Թուրքիայի շահերը, իսկ մյուս կողմից պետք է հաշվի նստի օրեցօր զարգացող Իրանի:
Հետևաբար իսրայելական անօդաչուների հետ կապված Իրանի ՊՆ արձագանքը հաստատում է այն համոզմունքը, որ առանց փոխադարձ վստահության և անվտանգության երաշխիքների՝ հնարավոր չէ կառուցել ամուր, երկարաժամկետ տնտեսական հարաբերություններ:
