Թեւան Պողոսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
ԱԺ հայտարարություններիցս մեկում նշել էի, որ Հայաստանի ԵԱՏՄ ընտրելուց քիչ ժամանակ անց մենք իսկապես սկսելու ենք նմանվել այդ ակումբի երկրներին, այլ ոչ թե մենք ենք նրանց առաջ տանելու: Այդ ժամանակ անդրադարձս նվիրված էր միջազգային ինդեքսներից մեկի գնահատականին առ այն, որ մենք հետընթաց էինք ապրել: Արդեն երկրորդ օրն է, ինչ հրապարակվել է «Էկոնոմիստ Ինթելիջենս Յունիթ» բրիտանական հեղինակավոր հետազոտական և խորհրդատվական ընկերության ամենամյա հաշվետվությունը ժողովրդավարության վերաբերյալ: «Ժողովրդավարության Ինդեքս-2016. «Նողկալիների» վրեժխնդրությունը» վերնագիրը կրող զեկույցը նշում է, որ Հայաստանը, 2016-ի ընթացքում 4 քայլ հետ գնալով, արդեն դասակարգվել է 120-րդ տեղում և այլևս համարվում է ավտորիտար երկիր:
Ես շատ լավ հասկանում եմ, որ զանազան միջազգային ռեյտինգային ինդեքսների ինստիտուտը կատարյալ չէ, և հնարավոր են նաև մանիպուլյացիաներ, բայց արդյո՞ք այս անգամ մենք ունենք հենց այդ դեպքը: Առնվազն մենք գիտակցում ենք, որ աշխարհը այսպես թե այնպես հենց հաշվետվության առաջարկած ձևով է մեզ ընկալելու: Մեկ բան է, երբ մենք կարող ենք համարել, որ դե բոլորը ծախված են, բայց լիակատար այլ բան է, թե սրանից հետո մենք ինչ պետք է անենք, որ այս իրավիճակը շտկենք:
Իրականում Հայաստանի իշխանությունները հետևողականորեն այնպիսի քաղաքականություն են սկսել վարել, որ մենք բոլոր ժողովրդավարական և ազատությունների ռեյտինգներով նվազում ենք ունենում: Սրան հավատալ-չհավատալու հարց չկա: Մենք վերջին ժամանակահատվածում իսկապես որևէ զարգացում չունենք, իսկ վատթարացման օրինակներ մեր մամուլում՝ ինչքան ուզես: Իսկ մամուլն էլ իրական կյանքից է չէ՞ գրում:
Պարոնայք իշխանավորներ, վայելեք այն, ինչին ինքներդ հասցրեցիք՝ Հայաստանը ավտորիտար երկիր է, կամ գիտակցեք ու սկսեք իրական փոփոխությունները: Սկսեք, օրինակ, Վանաձորում նոր ընտրություններ նշանակելուց, ԱԺ ընտրությունների օրը ապրիլի 2-ից փոխելով, և այլն, և այլն, և այլն: Սկսե՛ք ազնիվ ընտրություններից: Ձեզ մոտ չի ստացվում մեզ հպարտություն պարգևել՝ Հայաստանը ժողովրդավար երկիր դարձնելով, գուցե այլոք դա կարող են իսկապես անել։
