Ավելին՝ հայրը հայտարարեց, որ իր զավակը հանդիսանում է բազմաթիվ ձեռքեր ունեցող Գանեշա աստծո կենդանի մարմնավորումը: Այս կարծիքին էին նաև հազարավոր հավատացյալներ, ովքեր հավաքվել էին երջանիկ հոր տան մոտ, որպեսզի տեսնեն իրենց նորածին աստծուն: Նրանք ցանկանում էին երկրպագել երեխային:
Երեխան, որն այդ պահին անուն չուներ դեռ, ծնվել էր 4 ոտքերով ու 4 ձեռքերով: Ենթադրաբար, սա հետևանք էր սիամական երկվորյակների թերհասության, որոնց պետք է լույս աշխարհ բերեր մայրը, սակայն սնահավատ հնդիկներն ընկալեցին սա որպես իսկական հրաշք: Նրանք այսօր էլ համոզված են, որ գործ ունեն Գանեշայի հետ, այլ ոչ թե դժբախտ հաշմանդամ երեխայի:
Գանեշան հինդուիզմ կրոնի գլխավոր աստվածներից մեկն է ու ունի միլիոնավոր հետևորդներ Հնդկաստանում: Նրան պատկերում են մարդու ու փղի կերպարանքով, ով 4 ձեռքեր ունի:
Արդյունքում ոմանք հարյուրավոր կիլոմետրեր էին հաղթահարում, որպեսզի տեսնեին այս անսովոր երեխային: «Ուխտագնացներից» մեկը խոստովանել է, որ ինքը հազարավոր կիլոմետրեր է հաղթահարել, որպեսզի մեկ վայրկյանով տեսնի մանկիկին:
Նա պատմել է նաև, որ երբ ընկերն իրեն ուղարկել է երեխայի լուսանկարը, նա սկզբում չի հավատացել, որ այդպիսի բան հնարավոր է, ու մտածել է, որ ֆոտոմոնտաժի հետ գործ ունի: Սակայն հետո այս զարմանալի նորածնի մասին սկսեցին գրել թերթերում ու նրան անգամ հեռուստատեսությամբ ցուցադրեցին:
Բոլոր կասկածները փարատված էին, ու հավատացյալների ամբոխները պոկվեցին տեղներից, որպեսզի տեսնեն 8 վերջույթներ ունեցող իրենց «աստծուն»:
Հարկ է նշել, որ սա ամենևին էլ ֆիզիկական շեղումներով ծնված առաջին երեխան չէ Հնդկաստանում, ումից աստված են սարքել՝ գենետիկական շեղումն ընդունելով որպես աստվածային նշան:
Պոչավոր տղան
13-ամյա Արշիդ Ալի Խանը ևս անսովոր հնդիկ երեխա է: Գենետիկական մուտացիայի արդյունքում տղայի մարմնի վրա իսկական պոչ աճեց: Սակայն պատանուն դա չէր տխրեցնում, որովհետև տեղաբնակները նրա մեջ տեսան կապիկների աստված Խանումանին:
Հարկ է նշել, որ տղային երջանկացնում էր այդ փաստը, ու նա ամենայն պատասխանատվությամբ էր մոտենում «կապիկների աստված» լինելու իր առաքելությանը: Սա տևեց այնքան ժամանակ, մինչև Արշիդի մարմնից վիրահատական եղանակով հեռացրեցին 25 սանտիմետր երկարությամբ պոչանման գոյացությունը:
Իհարկե, պոչի հետ նա կորցրեց նաև իր աստվածային կարգավիճակը, բայց փոխարենը՝ հիմա նա ոչնչով չի տարբերվում իր հասակակիցներից:
