Լոբին մեծ տեղ է գրավում սննդի գործում ինչպես հատիկների, այնպես էլ կանաչ ունդերի գործածությամբ։ Լոբին մշակում են հատիկ և կանաչ լոբի ստանալու համար։
Սպիտակուցային նյութերով լոբու հատիկները մոտենում են մսին։ Լոբու հատիկների մեջ սպիտակուցները կազմում են 20-22% (մսում՝ 20-23%)։ Կանաչ լոբու մեջ սպիտակուցները 6-7% են։ Բացի այդ լոբին պարունակում է մոտ 2% ճարպ և, վերջապես, վիտամիններ ու մարդու օրգանիզմի համար անհրաժեշտ հանքային աղեր։
Ինչպես գիտենք լոբին մարդկանց մոտ կարող է գազեր առաջացնել, բայց դա պատճառ չէ այն սննդակարգից բացառելու համար։
Բուժիչ նպատակներով մթերում են ծաղիկները և արդեն հասունացած պտղի պատիճը։ Ծաղկաբաժակի թերթիկները ձուլված են խողովակի ձևով, դա է պատճառը, որ մեղուն դժվարանում է հասնել ծաղկահյութին։ Այնուամենայնիվ երկար կնճիթիկ ունեցող հայկական դեղին մեղուն կարողանում է ծակել ծաղկաթերթերը։ Ծաղիկը չորացնում են բաց ծածկի տակ։ Ունի տարրալուծող, արյունը մաքրող հատկություն։ Պատիճը չորացնում են արևի տակ, պարունակում է հակադիաբետիկ նյութ (արգինին)։
Լոբին պարունակում է լուծվողև չլուծվող բջջանյութ, որոնք օգնում են մարսողական համակարգին լավ աշխատել։ Նախ և առաջ դանդաղեցնում է մարսողությունը, որը Ձեզ հագեցվածության զգացում է տալիս, իսկ երկրորդն օգնում է կանխել փորկապությունը։ Լոբի ուտելու դեպքում պետք է ուղղակի շատ ջուր խմել, որպեսզի խուսափեք հետագա խնդիրներից։
Լոբին լավ է նաև սրտի համար, նրանով հարուստ դիետան լավ ազդեցություն կարող է ունենալ Ձեր սրտի համար։ Մեկ տոկոսով արյան խոլեստերինի կրճատումը երկու տոկոսով կրճատում է սրտի կաթվածի հավանականությունը։
Լոբին կարող է կրճատել քաղցկեղի հավանականությունը, քանի որ հարուստ է հակաօքսիդանտներով, որոնք պաշտպանում են բջիջները վնասող եւ քաղցկեղ առաջացնող ազատ ռադիկալներից։ 8 տարի շարունակ շաբաթական երկու անգամ լոբի կամ ոսպ ուտող կանայք ավելի քիչ են հակված կրծքի քաղցկեղով հիվանդանալուն։
Շաքարախտով հիվանդների համար նորից լոբին իդեալական սնունդ է, հատկապես կանաչը՝ հիմա այնքան մատչելի ու շատ:
Թուրմը և եփուկը կիրառում են աթերոսկլերոզի, հիպերտոնիայի, ռևմատիզմի, երիկամների և միզապարկի բորբոքումների, սրտային կամ երիկամային բնույթի այտուցների, շաքարային դիաբետի թեթև ընթացքի, պանկրեատիտի դեպքում։
Ուշադրություն. լոբին պետք է սահմանափակել հոդատապի, նեֆրիտի, ստամոքսաբորբի, խոլեցիստիտի, կոլիտի, ստամոքսիև 12-մատնյա աղիի խոցերի դեպքում։Հատիկը պարունակում է բարդ շաքարներ, որոնք չեն մարսվում մարդու օրգանիզմում։
