Ընդունված է համարել, որ կանայք արաբական ընտանիքներոմ չունեն ո՛չ ձայն, ո՛չ իրավունքներ: Որ կանանց կյանքը նման է վանդակում ապրելուն: Իսկապես այդպես է, թե ոչ՝ կպատմենք ստորև:
1. Ամուսնությունը կանխորոշված է
Արաբական աշխարհում համարվում է, որ աղջկա ճակատագիրը կանխորոշված է նրա հարազատների կողմից: Նրանք են նրա համար ամուսին ընտրում, նրա կարծիքը ոչ ոք չի հարցնում: Իրականում դա այդպես չէ: Եթե փեսացուն հարսնացուին դուր չի գալիս, նա նրան մերժելու լրիվ իրավունք ունի:
2. Առանց գլխագնի հարսանիք չի լինի
Ամուսնական պայմանագիրն արաբական երկրներում վաղուց նորմա է: Սակայն պայմանագիրը ստորագրում են ոչ թե փեսացուն և հարսնացուն, այլ աղջկա ծնողները և ապագա ամուսինը: Գլխագնի ավանդույթը պահպանվում է, բայց պարտադիր չէ:
3. Բոլոր տղամարդիկ հարեմ են պահում
Արաբական շատ երկրներում պաշտոնապես թույլատրված է հարեմ ունենալ, բայց ոչ բոլոր տղամարդիկ հարեմ ունեն: Հիմնական պատճառը փողն է: Մի քանի կին պահելը բավական ծախսատար է:
4. Բաժանություն գոյություն չունի
Տղամարդը կարող է կնոջից բաժանվել, եթե ասի. «թալաք, թալաք, թալաք», ինչը նշանակում է «ազատ արձակել, բաց թողնել»: Կանայք այս խոսքերից կրակից շատ են վախենում: Եթե հանկարծ ամուսինն այդ խոսքերն արտաբերի, կինը պետք է տնից հեռանա այն հագուստով ինչ այդ պահին կրում է: Ուստի կանայք աշխատում են միշտ կրել իրենց բոլոր զարդերը, որոնք քիչ չեն լինում: Քանի որ արաբական երկրներում ընդունված է սերն ապացուցել ոչ թե ծաղկեփնջով, այլ ոսկով:
5. Օտարեկրացիների հետ ամուսնություններն արգելված են
Եթե արաբ կինը որոշում է օտարերկրացու հետ ամուսնանալ, կզրկվի քաղաքացիությունից: Ուրիշ կրոնի ներկայացուցիչների հետ ամուսնություններն իսկապես արգելված են: Իսկ տղամարդը կարող է օտարերկրացու հետ ամուսնանալ, բայց եթե նրանից բաժանվի, երեխաներն ըստ օրենքի իր հետ կմնան:
6. Կանայք իրավունքներ չունեն
Անշուշտ, արաբական ընտանիքում գլխավորն ամուսինն է, բայց կինն էլ շատ իրավունքներ ունի: Նա կարող է մասնակցել ընտանեկան կարևոր հարցերի լուծմանը: Կնոջը նաև թույլատրվում է ցանկացած հագուստ կրել, միայն թե փողոց դուրս գալիս նա պետք է սև վերնազգեստ հագնի, քանի որ նրա գեղեցկությունը միայն ամուսինը կարող է տեսնել:
Արաբ կինը ցանկության դեպքում կարող է սովորել: Շատ աղջիկներ նույնիսկ արտասահմանում են ուսում ստանում: Սակայն ամուսնանալուց հետո նրանք չեն կարող աշխատել: Նրանց հիմնական պարտականությունը դառնում է ամուսնու և երեխաների մասին հոգալը:
