Ռոդլի Սքոթի «Մարսեցին» մեկ այլ հետաքրքիր անդրադարձ է տիեզերքի թեմայինկինեմատոգրաֆիայում։ Դեպի Մարս ուղևորված հետազոտողների թիմի անդամներից մեկը (Մեթ Դեմոնի մարմնավորմամբ) ավազային փոթորկի պատճառով չի հասցնում հեռանալ Կարմիր մոլորակից և ստիպված է ինչ-որ ձև կենդանի մնալ։ Կստացվի նրա մոտ գլուխ հանել այս բարդ իրավիճակից, թե ոչ, արդեն շուտով կկարողանանք տեսնել մեծ էկրաններին։
