Հայաստանի նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը, ինչպես հայտնի է, հանդիսանում է նաեւ Հայաստանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ։
Նա հաճույքով է շախմատ խաղում.
Հայաստանի երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը բավականին ակտիվ է սպորտում։ Նրան կարելի է տեսնել ինչպես բասկետբոլ խաղալիս, այնպես էլ որսորդությամբ զբաղվելիս, լողալիս, ջրային սերֆինգով, դայվինգով զբաղվելիս, դահուկով սահելիս եւ այլն։

Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը ֆուտբոլի սիրահար է։
Լրագրողների եւ պաշտոնյաների միջեւ ֆուտբոլային խաղում պաշտոնյաների թիմից հանդես էին գալիս նաեւ ԱԺ պատգամավորներ Կարեն Ավագյանը, Աշոտ Աղաբաբյանը, Հովհաննես Սահակյանը, Արծվիկ Մինասյանը, Սամվել Ֆարմանյանը, Կորյուն Նահապետյանը, Արդարադատության նախկին նախարար, ԱԺ աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Հրայր Թովմասյանը։

Պատգամավոր Տաճատ Վարդապետյանը ինտելեկտուալ սպորտաձեւ համարվող շախմատի սիրահար է։ Ի դեպ, նա հաղթել է անգամ շախմատի աշխարհի չեմպիոն Մագնուս Կարլսենին։
Պատգամավոր, ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանն ավարտել է ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի հայկական պետական ինստիտուտը։ Նա զբաղվել է բռնցքամարտով, ըմբշամարտով և բազկամարտով։ 1996 թվականի բազկամարտի աշխարհի չեմպիոն, իսկ 1998-ին՝ Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն։
Պատգամավոր Բազմասեր Առաեքլյանը եւս մասնագիտությամբ սպորտսմեն է։ Նա ավարտել է Երեւանի օլիմպիական հերթափոխի պետական մարզական քոլեջը: 1998թ.` Ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի հայկական պետական ինստիտուտի մարզամանկավարժական ֆակուլտետը։
1992-1998թթ. եղել է Հայաստանի ըմբշամարտի հավաքականի անդամ, հանրապետության բազմակի չեմպիոն, Եվրոպայի եւ աշխարհի բազմաթիվ առաջնությունների մասնակից, մրցանակակիր: Նա սպորտի վարպետ է:
Մասնագիտությամբ սպորտսմեն է նաեւ պատգամավոր Արթուր Գեւորգյանը։
2000թ. ավարտել է Ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի հայկական պետական ինստիտուտը: Մարզիչ-մանկավարժ:
1987թ. զբաղվել է բռնցքամարտով: 1989թ. դարձել է ԽՍՀՄ պատանեկան առաջնության հաղթող, սպորտի վարպետ: 1996թ. Ատլանտայի 26-րդ օլիմպիական խաղերում գրավել է 5-րդ տեղը: Միջազգային կարգի սպորտի վարպետ: 1998թ. Եվրոպայի առաջնության մրցանակակիր է: 2000թ. մասնակցել է Սիդնեյի օլիմպիական խաղերին:
Ի դեպ, Արթուր Գեւորգյանը զբաղեցնում է նաեւ Հայաստանի բռնցքամարտի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի պաշտոնը։
Լինելով սպորտսմեն, նա միայն բռնցքամարտով չի սահմանափակվում։
