Ինչո՞ւ էին պատերազմի տարիներին փչովի տանկեր ու ծանր զինտեխնիկա արտադրում

Լուսանկարներին նայելիս առաջին հերթին բոլորի մոտ հարց է առաջանում, թե որն է պատերազմի ժամանակ փչովի տանկեր օգտագործելու իմաստը: Բայց պատասխանը շատ հստակ է. թշնամին հավանաբար կհավատա, որ դրանք իրական տանկեր են և խուճապահար կլինի:
Առաջին աշխարհամարտի տարիներին Անտանտ դաշինքի զորքերը պատրաստում էին բրիտանական ծանր հրետանիների ու տանկերի փչովի տարբերակները, որոնք, բնականաբար, չէին կարող կրակել կամ ռմբակոծել: Տանկերի կմախքը պատրաստում էին փայտե կտորներից, ապա պատում կտորով և ձևավորում ճիշտ և ճիշտ իրական տանկերի նման: Երբեմն նաև անիվներ էին ավելացնում, որպեսզի հեշտ լինի դրանց տեղափոխել ու վախեցնել թշնամուն: Հետագայում գերմանացիները ևս սկսեցին նմանատիպ կեղծ զինտեխնիկա արտադրել:
Կեղծ տանկերի օգտագործումը միանգամից աճեց Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի տարիներին: Գերմանական զորագնդերից մեկում 1100 զինվորների պարտականությունն էր կեղծելով ձևացնել, թե այդ վայրում զինտեխնիկայով հարուստ 30.000-հոգանոց զորախումբ կա տեղակայված: Տեսողական պատրանքի շնորհիվ թշնամին վախենում և նահանջում էր ու փորձում ընտրել հարձակման մեկ այլ ճանապարհ:
1944-ի հունվարին ձևավորված «Ուրվականների բանակը» իր խորամանկ մարտավարությունը տանում էր երեք եղանակով՝ ձայնային, տեսողական և ռադիո-տեխնիկական: Տեսողական խաբկանքներ ստեղծելու պարտականությունը 603-րդ գումարտակի վրա էր դրված, որի անձնակազմում կային բազմաթիվ արվեստագետներ, նկարիչներ ու ճարտարապետներ, ովքեր էլ ավելի զարգացրին կեղծ զինտեխնիկայի պատրաստման պրակտիկան: Նրանք պատրաստում էին հարյուրավոր արհեստական տանկեր, թնդանոթներ, բեռնատար մեքենաներ ու անգամ ռազմական օդանավեր, որոնք չէին կարող օդում թռչել, բայց թշնամին, գետնի վրա օդանավեր տեսնելով, արդեն չէր համարձակվում հարձակվել:
