Այստեղ ապրելու պատճա՞ռը. առատության երկիր, որտեղ կարիքներ չկան
Շլարաֆենլանդիան գերմանական հեքիաթներում հիշատակվող երկիր է, որտեղ կա ամեն ինչ՝ առատորեն բավարարելու մարդկանց կարիքները։ Գետերն այստեղ կաթից են, քարերի փոխարեն պանիր է, ամեն տեսակ ճոխություներից ու վայելքներից օգտվելը բարիք գործել է, իսկ աշխատելն ու ջանասիրությունը՝ մեղք։ Առաջին անգամ այն հիշատակվել է 1494թ․ին Սեբաստիան Բրանտի կողմից գրված «Ապուշների նավը» պոեմում, ինչևէ դեռ հինգերորդ դարում նմանատիպ երևակայական աշխարհների մասին իրենց աշխատություններում հիշատակել են բանաստեղծներ Տելեկլեիդոսը և Ֆերեկրատեսը։

Էլ Դորադոն ոսկու լեգենդար քաղաք է, որը գտնվում է Հարավային Ամերիկայում։ Այս վայրի մասին պատմվող լեգենդներն այնքան տարածված էին, որ 1500-ականներին մի քանի անհաջող հետազոտական արշավներ տեղի ունեցան քաղաքի փնտրտուքներով։ Այսօր Էլ Դորադո անունով շատ վայրեր կան. հատկապես Հարավային ու Հյուսիսային Ամերիկաներում գտնվող հանքարդյունաբերական փոքրիկ քաղաքներ։

Բիմինին լեգենդար քաղաք է, որտեղ գտնվում է երիտասարդության ցայտաղբյուրը։ Այն նաև հարստության աշխարհն է՝ երկրային դրախտ։ Մարդիկ հավատացած էին, որ այս վայրը իրականում գոյությունի ուներ և այն գտնվում էր ինչ-որ տեղ Բահամյան կղզիներից դեպի հյուսիս։ Լեգենդի համաձայն իսպանացի ճանապարհորդ Խուան Պոնս դե Լոնը Բիմինիի հետքերով գնալով հայտնաբերել է Ֆլորիդան 1500-ականների սկզբին։

Շանգրի-Լան լեգենդար հովիտ է Հիմալայներում։ Այն հավերժական երջանկության երկիր է, որը կտրված է արտաքին աշխարհից։ Մարդիկ, ովքեր ապրում են Շանգրի-Լայում գրեթե անմահ են՝ ապրելով ավելի երկար, քան կյանքի սովորական միջին տևողությունն է։ Այս վայրի անունն այնքան հայտնի էր, որ նացիստները 1938թ․ի հետազոտական խումբ ուղարկեցին այն գտնելու համար։ Եվ իհարկե նրանց չհաջողվեց այն գտնել։
Շանգրի-Լան հիշատակվում է բրիտանացի գրող Ջեյմս Հիլթոնի 1933թ․ին գրված «Կորսված հորիզոն» վեպում։
