Պարզվում է, այսպես էին առաջ մուլտֆիլմեր ստեղծում։
Կա մի քանի գաղտնիք այն բանի մասին, թե ինչպես էր Դիսնեյը ստեղծում Ալիսան հրաշքների երկրում, Պիտեր Պենը և այլ մուլտհերոսների կերպարները։
Այսօր մուլտֆիլմեր ստեղծելու գործընթացը շատ ավելի հեշտ է, քան մուլտիպլիկացիոն ֆիլմերի ստեղծման սկզբին։ Նախկինում նկարիչները իրենց ձեռքի տակ ունեցած իրերից էին ստանում ամենինչը։
Որպեսզի նկարեին բոլորի կողմից սիրված Ալիսային հրաշքների աշխարհում, անիմատորները ստիպված էին իրական մոդելին նկարահանել տարբեր կադրերում։
Քետրին Բոմոնդը այն աղջկա նախատիպն էր, ով հետագայում բարձավ Ալիսան։
Քետրինը հետաքրքրված էր երկու մուլտֆիլմերի ստեղծման պրոցեսով՝ Ալիսան հրաշքների երկրում և Պիտեր Պեն։ Նա ոչ միայն մոդել էր, այլ նաև ձայնագրվել էր, որպես հերոսուհիներ։
Անիմացիայի կլասիկ միջոցը շատ բարդ էր, շատ ժամանակ էր պահանջվում, որպեսզի մտածել, նկարել բոլոր կադրերը։ Շաբաթում անիմատորները նկարահանում էին 23-24 վայրկյան տեսահոլովակ։ Այս պայմաններում ստեղծվել են այս մուլտֆիլմերը։
Ուոլթ Դիսնեյը Քետրին Բոմոնդին առաջարկել էր աշխատել իր մոտ, երբ նա տաս տարեկան էր։ ԻՀարկե նա համաձայնվել էր։
Աշխատանքի ընթացքում նա կատարել էր ակրոբատական համարներ, նկարահանվել էր տարբեր գործիքների հետ և անգամ ընկել էր։ Եվ այս ամենը այն բանի համար, որպեսզի նկարիչները նկարեին կադրերը։

Քետրինը համագործակցել է Ուոլթ Դիսնեյի հետ մի քանի պրոեկտների ժամանակ, իսկ երբ մեծացել է, դարձել է ուսուցչուհի։ Դպրոցում աշխատել է շուրջ երեսուն տարի։
Ուոլթ Դիսնեյի գովազդային տեսահոլովակում 1998թ-ին Քետրինին անվանել են Դիսնեյի Լեգենդ։ Եվ դա լավ է, քանզի նա ձայնագրվել է որպես ամենասիրելի մուլտհերոս՝ Ալիսա։
