Կրծքագեղձի քաղցկեղի դեմ տարած հաղթանակի գինը (լուսանկարներ) (18+)

Համաձայն վիճակագրության` տարեկան ախտորոշվում է կրծքագեղձ քաղցկեղի 1 միլիոն 250 հազար դեպք։ Թվերը սարսափեցնող են։
Երբ 2 տարի առաջ, 32–ամյա ավստրալուհի Բեթ Վաանգեի մոտ ախտորոշեցին այդ հիվանդությունը, կինը կարծեց, թե իր կյանքն ավարտված է։ Սարսափելի լուրը բժիշկները հայտնեցի հենց նրա ծննդյան օրը։ 4 երեխայի մոր համար այդպիսի լուրը ուղղակի սառը ցնցուղ էր։ Բժիշկները նաև զգուշացրել էին, որ նրա մոտ առկա է վտանգավոր BRCA2 գենը, որը կհանգեցնի կրծքի և արգանդի չարորակ ուռուցնքերի։
Կինը ստիպված մի քանի վիրահատության ենթարկվեց, որպեսզի հաղթահարի չարաբաստիկ քաղցկեղը։ Այդպիսի հիվանդության դեմ պայքարը հանգեցրեց քաշի կորստի, ինչի արդյունքում նրա մարմինն տձևացավ։ Սակայն Բեթը որոշեց ողջ աշխարհին հայտնել` քաղցկեղի դեմ իր տարած հաղթանակի մասին։
Նա լուսանկարիչ Նադեյ Մասոտի հետ մի հանճարեղ ֆոտոնախագիծ մշակեցին` «Ի՞նչ է Բեթի կարմիր հագուստի տակ» խորագրով։
–Ամեն օր մենք անցնում են բավական նորմալ տեսք ունեցող մարդկանց կողքով, սակայն հաճախ, հագուստի տակի մարմինը սարսափելի պատմություն է թաքցնում։ Մենք ցանկանում ենք զգուշացնել, որ քաղցկեղը կարող է թակել յուրաքանչյուրի դուռը,–իր հարցազրույցներից մեկում կիսվում է Բեթը։
Եվ ի՞նչ եք կարծում` ի՞նչ հաջորդեց դրան։ 8 ժամվա ընթացքում Բեթի ընկերներից 103–ը հեռացրեցին նրան իրենց ցանկից։ Բայց չէ՞ որ նա ընդամենը ցանկանում էր ծանոթների ուշադրությունը հրավիրել և կանանց զգուշացնել սպասվող վտանգի մասին։
–Ինչ արած, դա նրան ընտրությունն է,–պատահածը մեկնաբանեց Բեթը։
Չնայած դրան, այս վիճահարույց լուսանկարները շատ կանանց համար խթան հանդիսացան, որպեսզի նրանք էլ կիսվեն իրենց պատմությամբ և լուսանկարներով։ Այդպիսի շարժման նպատակը մնում է նույնը. հիշեցնել կանանց` ժամանակին արված ախտորոշման կարևորության մասին։
