Սուրճի ընդմիջումը կամ ինչպես հաճախ ընդունված է ասել` Coffee Break-ը տարածված է հիմնականում գործարարության ոլորտում: Coffee Break տերմինը առաջին անգամ օգտագործվել և հայտնի է դարձել ամերիկյան Pan-American Coffee Bureau գովազդային գործակալության կողմից, որն ասում էր “Give Yourself a Coffee Break and Get What Coffee Gives to You” (թարգմանաբար նշված արտահայտությունը նշանակում է` “Ընդմիջում արա մեկ գավաթ սուրճով և վայելիր այն, ինչ սուրճը կպարգևի քեզ”:) Սովորաբար սուրճի ընդմիջումը տևում է 15-30 րոպե: Հաճախ սուրճի ընդմիջումներ պատվիրվում են կոնֆերանսների, սեմինարների, դասընթացների և գործնական խորհրդակցությունների ընթացքում, երբ մտավոր ծանր աշխատանքի ժամանակ մարդիկ կարիք ունեն մի փոքր ընդմիջելու, հանգստանալու և կենտրոնանալու` աշխատանքը շարունակելու համար:
Սուրճը և ժառանգականությունը
Բժշկական գիտությունը վաղուց ի վեր ապացուցել է, որ սուրճը կանխարգելում է ցնցակաթվածի (Պարկինսոնի հիվանդություն) զարգացումը։ Նաև հայտնի է, որ կոֆեինը վերամշակվում է լյարդի հատուկ խմորիչների միջոցով, որոնց գոյացման և ակտիվության չափը վերահսկում է մեկ որոշակի գեն։ Կախված այդ գենի առանձնահատկություններից կամ օրգանիզմի առողջական վիճակից` կոֆեինը յուրացվում է տարբեր ժամկետներում։
Արդյո՞ք սուրճի սերմն ունի նիհարեցնող հատկություն
Սուրճի կանաչ սերմն, ըստ վերջին հաղորդագրությունների, լավագույն նիհարեցնող միջոցն է, որը տրոհում է ճարպերը և չի վնասում առողջությունը։ Գիտնականները կարծում են, որ սուրճի կանաչ սերմն իջեցնում է ճնշումը և արագացնում նյութափոխանակությունը։ Կանաչ սերմի կարևորագույն բաղադրիչն է քլորոգենի թթուն, որը դանդաղեցնում է ածխաջրերի փոխակերպումը գլյուկոզայի, ինչի շնորհիվ հիպոֆիզն արտազատում է աճի հորմոնը, որը նպաստում է ճարպերի արագ յուրացմանը և հեռացմանն օրգանիզմից (կամ այլ կերպ` «այրմանը»)։ Սուրճը բարձրացնում է հյուսվածքների զգայունությունն ինսուլինի հանդեպ։
Սուրճը և ծխախոտը
Այս «անբաժան» զույգը կարող է խթանել դժվար աղտոտվող անեմիայի զարգացման ընթացքը։ Ծխող և հատկապես մոլի ծխող մարդկանց մոտ հեմոգլոբինի մակարդակի և և էրիթրոցիտների քանակների ցուցանիշները հաճախ նորմայի մեջ են։ Ավելին, ստացվում է այնպես, որ կարծես թե որքան մարդը շատ է ծխում, այնքան այդ չափորոշիչներն ավելի մոտ են դրականին։ Հանելուկի պատասխանը հետևյալն է. գլանակի մեջ պարունակող ածխածնի օքսիդը (CO) միանալով հեմգլոբինի մոլեկուլի հետ` «զբաղեցնում» է թթվածնի ատոմների տեղը և արդյունքում նկատվում է դիմադրողականության անկում, դաշտանի պարբերության կրճատում և առատություն, մազաթափություն, «այրող» զգացում լեզվի վրա, և այլն։
