Արտակ Սարգսյանի ընտանիքն անհամբեր սպասում էր նրա` բանակից վերադարձին: Բայց Արտակը որոշել էր ընտանիքին անակնկալ մատուցել և նախօրոք չէր տեղեկացրել իր գալու մասին: Միայն մի քանի ժամ առաջ հարազատներն իմացան, որ Արտակը գալիս է:
Մութն ընկել էր, արդեն երեկոյան մոտ ժամը տասն էր: Արտակի մայրը՝ տիկին Ռոզան, քույրը՝ Լուսինեն` երեխայի հետ, փողոցում սպասում են նրան: Անհամբերությունից նրանք չեն կարողանում իրենց տեղը գտնել:
Վաղարշակը` Արտակի հայրը, Ռուսաստանում է, նա անընդհատ զանգում է, որպեսզի իմանա, թե ուր հասավ որդին: Կանայք նույնպես անընդհատ զանգահարում են, փորձում են կապ հաստատել Արտակի կամ Արտակի ընկերների հետ, որոնք պետք է նրան դիմավորեին:
Տիկին Ռոզան պատմում է, որ տղան մասնակցել է ապրիլյան քառօրյային: Այն ժամանակ նրան խրախուսել էին արտահերթ արձակուրդով: Ծառայության և ապրիլյան օրերի մասին Արտակը չի պատմել, միշտ ասել է`ամեն ինչ լավ է:
Հարազատներն իրենք մի քանի անգամ գնացել են Արտակին տեսնելու: Մայրը պատմում է, որ ավագ որդին ծառայել է 10 տարի առաջ, այս տարիների ընթացքում բանակը փոխվել է: Նրա խոսքով՝ սար ու ձորի տարբերություն կա, ծառայությունը դեպի լավն է գնացել:
