Այսօր լրանում է սիրված երգիչ Արամ Ասատրյանի մահվան 9 տարին: Ցավով ենք հիշում վաղամեռիկ երգչի կորուստի փաստը: Եվ այսօր Past.am-ը Ձեզ է ներկայացնում սիրված երգչի կյանքն ու ստեղծագործական ուղին:
Արամ Հապետի Ասատրյանը ծնվել է 1953թ-ի մարտի 3-ին՝ Վաղարշապատում, Արևելյան Հայաստանից տեղափոխված փախստականների ընտանիքում։ Մանուկ հասակից սկսել է զբաղվել երաժշտությամբ, սակայն հայտնի է դարձել 1980-ական թվականների կեսերից։
1985 թ. Լևոն Աբրահամյանի, Խաչիկ Սահակյանի, Սուրեն Գասպարյանի և Սիմոն Սիսոյանի հետ միասին ստեղծել է սեփական խումբը։ Հայրենասիրական և սիրային երգերով ելույթներ էր ունենում Արցախյան պատերազմի մասնակիցների համար։
Ելույթներով հանդես եր գալիս Ասիայում, Եվրոպայում, Ռուսաստանում,ԱՄՆ-ում և արաբական երկրներում։ Ավելի քան 500 երգերի հեղինակ է։
2003 թ. ՀՀ Մշակույթի նախարարությունը Արամ Ասատրյանին շնորհել է «Գուսան» պատվավոր տիտղոսով։
Արամ Ասատրյանը վախճանվել է 2006 թ. նոյեմբերի 7-ին սրտի կաթվածից։
Արամ Ասատրյանը ունեցել է երեք զավակ և մեկ դուստր։
