POLITICS«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Հեռուստամարաթոն 2018–ին մոտ 1 միլիոն 400 հազար դոլարով պակաս գումար է հավաքվել նախորդ տարվա հանգանակած գումարներից: Այս հանգամանքը առիթ է տվել քննարկումների առ այն, որ Սփյուռքը չի վստահում ներկա իշխանություններին: Իրականում, սակայն, խնդիրն այլ տեղ է: Նախորդ տարիների ցուցանիշների և այս տարվա ցուցանիշի մեջ մեծ տատանումներ չկան, բացառությամբ 2016թ. հանգանակության: Հասկանալի պատճառներով ապրիլյան պատերազմը ավելի շատ էր մոբիլիզացրել համահայկական ռեսուրսը: Խնդիրն առավելապես սահմանված ակնկալիքների և իրականության միջև խզման մեջ է: Սփյուռքի՝ հեղափոխությամբ ոգևորված լինելու հանգամանքն այս Հեռուստամարաթոնով չի արտացոլվում: Սա նշանակում է, որ հեղափոխությունն ու հեղափոխական իշխանությունը խնդիր ունեն առավել կանխատեսելի ու հասկանալի դառնալ ընդհանրապես աշխարհի, հատկապես հայկական սփյուռքի համար:
Կա ևս մեկ խնդիր: Այս անգամ խոշոր նվիրատուների ցանկից բացակայում էին մի շարք հայտնի գործարարներ: Սա, իհարկե, կարելի է վերագրել ներկա իշխանությունների հետ նրանց ունեցած խնդիրներին ու դրանցից բխող որոշակի նեղացկոտությանը: Բայց քաղաքական իմաստով այս խնդրի պատասխանատուն իշխանությունն է, որ չի կարողացել ներսի խոշոր կապիտալի հետ նոր խաղի կանոններ սահմանել: Իսկ առանց ներսում կապիտալի հետ հարաբերվելու հարցը լուծելու դժվար է պատկերացնել, թե ինչպիսին են լինելու հարաբերությունները դրսի, թեկուզև սփյուռքյան կապիտալի հետ:
Մեր ունեցած տեղեկություններով, իշխանական շրջանակները անհանգստացած են հանգանակված գումարի քանակով: Հուսանք՝ այդ անհանգստությունը կվերափոխվի իրավիճակի սթափ գնահատման, հատկապես, որ կարիք կա ընդհանրապես խորքային վերանայել Հեռուստամարաթոնի գաղափարական կողմը՝ օգնություն խնդրող ձեռքի սկզբունքը փոխարինելով համահայկական մեծ նպատակների սահմանմամբ:
