Թուրքիան Հարավային Կովկասը դիտարկում է որպես իր շահերի գոտի եւ շարունակում է մնալ Ռուսաստանի մրցակիցը։ Այս մասին հուլիսի 22-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն ասել է Հայաստանի Գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի Արեւելագիտության ինստիտուտի տնօրեն, թուրքագետ Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը։

Նրա խոսքով՝ Անկարայի շահերը հստակ դրսեւորվել են դեռ անցյալ դարի 90-ական թվականներին։ «Ռուսաստանը Թուրքիայի համար եղել եւ շարունակում է մնալ ռազմավարական հակառակորդ, եւ Անկարայի ու Մոսկվայի մերձեցումը ավելի շուտ կրում է ժամանակավոր բնույթ»,- պարզաբանել է արեւելագետը։

Միեւնույն ժամանակ փորձագետը կարծում է, որ Թուրքիայի ակտիվացումը Նախիջեւանում վերջին ժամանակներս պատահական չէր եւ ուղղված է երրորդ ռազմակայանի ստեղծմանը երկրի սահմաններից դուրս։ «Նրա բոլոր գործողությունները Նախիջեւանում, ըստ էության, նախնական աշխատանք է՝ ուղղված այդ կայանի ձեւավորմանը»,- ասաց թուրքագետը՝ ավելացնելով, որ եթե Թուրքիան ամրացնի իր դիրքերը Նախիջեւանում, ապա դա փաստացի կնշանակի նրա դիրքերի ամրապնդում ընդհանրապես Անդրկովկասում։

Փորձագետի կարծիքով՝ Անկարայի եւ Մոսկվայի հարաբերությունները վաղ թե ուշ վատթարանալու են, քանի որ յուրաքանչյուր երկիր հետապնդում է իր շահերը։ Դա, արեւելագետի կարծիքով, թույլ կտա Թուրքիային ավելի վստահ ստեղծել իր կայանը Նախիջեւանում՝ չվախենալով Կրեմլի արձագանքից։

«Ի վերջո, այդ կայանը կարող է դառնալ ռուսական ռազմակայանի հակակշիռը Հայաստանում»,- ասել է մասնագետը՝ ավելացնելով, որ Ռուսաստանի դիրքերը Անդրկովկասում  եւ, մասնավորապես, Հայաստանում դեռեւս ուժեղ են։

Արեւելագետն ընդգծել է, որ  ռուսական ռազմակայանի գոյությունը Հայաստանում թույլ կտա Մոսկվային առաջիկայում պահել իր գերազանցությունը եւ ազդեցությունը Կովկասում։
