Ինչպես հայտնի է, բալթյան երկրների քաղաքական հիերարխիայում կին քաղաքական գործիչները զգալի դերակատարում ունեն։ Նրանցից մեկը մեր հայրենակցուհի Աննա-Մարիա Գալոյանն է։
Նա ավարտել է Տարտուրական համալսարանի քաղաքագիտության ֆակուլտետը, որից հետո նաեւ մագիստրատուրան եւ Միջազգային հարաբերությունների բաժինը, Էստոնիայի Դիվանագիտական դպրոցի միջազգային հարաբերությունների եւ եվրոպական ինտեգրացիայի բաժինը։
20 տարեկանում Աննա-Մարիա Գալոյանը դարձավ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի խորհրդական, որից հետո ՝Էստոնիայի Եվրամիություն ինտեգրման որոշման հանրաքվեի ղեկավարներից մեկը։
2003 թվականից նա աշխատել է Էստոնիայի ԱԳ նախարարության արտաքին քաղաքականության ինստիտուտում։
Աննա-Մարիա Գալոյանը նաեւ հաջողակ գործունեություն է ծավալել բիզնես ոլորտում։
2005 թվականից նա տնօրինում է զարգացման AS Transgroup Invest ընկերությունը։ Նա նաեւ ղեկավարել է ոչ կոմերցիոն Eesti Euroopa Liikumine (Եվրոպական շարժում) կազմակերպությունը, սակայն աննպատակ ֆինանսական ռեսուրսների ծախսման սկանդալի պատճառով դուրս է եկել այդ կազմակերպությունից։ Ի դեպ, նրա դեմ հարուցվել էր քրեական գործ։
2011թ. դատարանը նրան դատապարտեց չորս տարվա պայմանական ազատազրկման, որից մեկ տարին նա պետք է անցկացներ բանտում։
Աննա-Մարիան պետք է սկսեր կրել իր պատիժը 2012 թվականից, սակայն բանտարկությունից առաջ նա մեկնեց Լոնդոն՝ քաղաքական ապաստան ստանալու նպատակով։ 2015թ. փետրվարին նա Միացյալ Թագավորությունից հետ ուղարկվեց Էստոնիա եւ բանտարկվեց։
Ի դեպ՝ 2009թ. նա լուսանկարվել է էստոնական Playboy ամսագրի համար, ինչը մեծ սկանդալի եւ բանավեճերի առիթ դարձավ։
Աննա-Մարիա Գալոյանը վարժ խոսում է ռուսերեն, էստոներեն, անգլերեն եւ հայերեն լեզուներով, նա գիտի նաեւ գերմաներեն ու ֆրանսերեն։
