10 մեքենաներ, որոնք կոչվել են տեղանունների անուններով

Կենդանիներից հետո տեղանունները հատուկ տեղ են զբաղեցնում մեքենա արտադրողների «սրտերում»: Ինչքան ազդեցիկ ու հմայիչ լինի տեղանունը, որը վերագրվում է մեքենային, այնքան ավելի լավ, եթե նույնիսկ գնորդների մեծամասնությունը այն չի կարողանում գտնել քարտեզի վրա:
Past.am-ը ներկայացնում է 10 մեքենաներ, որոնք կոչվել են տեղանունների անուններով:
1. Chevrolet Monte Carlo Chevrolet-ը վերցրել է այս շքեղ նավահանգստային անունը իր 1970-ականների նոր մեքենայի համար: Անունը օգտագործել են 30 տարի շարունակ:
2. Dodge Monaco Քանի որ Chevrolet-ն արդեն Monte Carlo-ն իրենով էր արել, Dodge-ը օգտագործել է այս փոքր իշխանական երկրի անունը, որտեղ գտնվում է Monte Carlo-ն: Այս մեքենաները քիչ են նկատվել հայտնի խաղատների դիմաց և քիչ են կիրառվել հարուստ մարդկանց կողմից, որովհետև այն ժամանակներում Մոնակոյի փողոցներում ավելի շատ հանդիպել են այլ Monaco-ներ, որոնք հայտնի են դարձել The Blues Brothers ֆիլմից:
3. Chevrolet Malibu Chevrolet -ի այս միջին չափի հայտնի ավտոմեքենան ստացել է իր անունը Լոս Անջելեսի ծովափնյա քաղաքի անունից: Քաղաքը սիրված է եղել հայտնիների կողմից:
4. Cadillac Eldorado Անունն ստացել է առասպելական Էլդորադո քաղաքից: Էլդորադոն ոսկու հայտնի քաղաք է եղել, որը փնտրել են բազմաթիվ իսպանացի կոնկիստադորներ:
5. Kaiser Manhattan Պատերազմական տարիներին նավ կառուցող ընկերությունը դիմել է մեքենա արտադրող ընկերությանը, որ ստեղծի տարբերվող Manhattan մեքենան: Այն վստահաբար իր անունը ստացել է Նյու Յորքի փոքր քաղաքի, այլ ոչ թե կոկտեյլի անունից:
6. Mercury Monterey Mercury-ին Կալիֆորնիայի այս պատմական ծովափնյա քաղաքի անունը օգտագործել է 1950-70-ականներին: Ավելի ուշ սկսել է արտադրել անշուք միկրոավտոբուսներ, ապա Mercury ավտոարտադրող ընկերությունը ընդհանրապես վերացել է:
7. Buick Riviera Buick-ը անկասկած հույս է ունեցել պատկերել Ֆրանսիայի հարավի գրավչությունը իր 1963թ. նոր շքեղ մոդելով, բայց ճշմարտությունն այն է, որ Buick-ը արդեն երկրորդ անգամ է յուրացրած եղել Ֆրանսիայի հասարակածային խաղահրապարակի անունը:
8. Mercury Montego Հայտնի չէ, թե ինչու է Mercury-ն վերցրել Ջամայկայի հանգստյան գոտու անունը:
9. Renault Floride Հավանաբոր որպես պատասխան նրան, որ Buick-ը յուրացրած է եղել Riviera-ն, Renault-ը անվանել է իր նորաձև փոքր մեքենան Floride, որը Florida-ի ֆրանսիական տարբերակն է:
10. Toyota Tacoma Տակոմա քաղաքը հավերժ ապրել է իր ավելի մեծ հարևանի՝ Սիեթլի ստվերում: Եվ մինչ այդ քաղաքը հայտնի է եղել իր գրանժ երաժշտությամբ ու սուրճով, Տակոման հավերժ հիշեցնելու է հարմարավետ փոքր պիկապը:
