Past.am-ը ներկայացնում է 10 խենթ փաստ աշխարհի շուրջ:

1. Ավստրալիան ունի մոտ 10.000 ծովափ: Դու կարող ես այնտեղ 27 տարի շարունակ ամեն օր մի նոր ծովափ այցելել:

2. 1980-ականների կեսերին Նիկոլաս Քեյջն է առաջինը խորհուրդ տվել Ջոնի Դեփին սկսել դերասանական կարիերա:

3. Բահամյան կղզիներում կա անբնակ կղզի, որ հայտնի է Խոզերի կղզի անվանունով: Այնտեղ բնակվում են միայն լողացող խոզեր:

4. Միայն 2002թ. ԱՄՆ-ում շների կողմից ավելի շատ մարդիկ են սպանվել, քան վերջին 100 տարվա ընթացքում՝ շնաձկների:

5. 2005թ. Իրաքի ապստամբները փորձել են համոզել ամերիկացի պաշտոնյաներին, որ իրենց մոտ ամերիկացի զինվոր կա պատանդ և սպառնացել են սպանել նրան, եթե Իրաքի բանտարկյալները չազատվեն: Նրանց ենթադրյալ պատանդը, պարզվել է՝ ռազմական ֆիգուր է եղել, ոչ թե իսկական զինվոր:

6. 1969թ. Ջիմ Սալիվան անունով մի երաժիշտ ալբոմ է ձայնագրել՝ անվանելով U.F.O. (ՉԹՈ), որը պարունակել է տարօրինակ բառերով երգեր, թե ինչպես ինքը թողեց իր ընտանիքը և առևանգվեց այլմոլորակայինների կողմից: 6 տարի անց նա անհետացել է առանց հետքի: Միակ վկան նրա լքված մեքենան է եղել, որը գտել են անապատի ճանապարհին:

7. Nokia-ն ի սկզբանե ստեղծվել է 1865թ.՝ որպես թուղթ տպող ընկերություն: Երբ այն հիմնադրվել է, թուղթը աշխարհում հեռահաղորդակցման ամենաշատ օգտագործվող մեթոդներից է եղել:

8. Բրունո Մարսի իսկական անուն-ազգանունը Փիթեր Ջին Բեյըթ Հերնանդես է: Նրա բեմական անունը ոգեշնչված է ըմբիշ Բրունո Սամարտինոյից, որովհետև երեխա ժամանակ Բրունոն ըմբիշի նման անկախ, վստահ ու ուժեղ կամքի տեր տղա է եղել: «Մարսը» գալիս է այնտեղից, որ նրան աղջիկները երբեմն անվանել են «ուրիշ աշխարհից»: Այսպես նա օգտագործել է Մարս մոլորակի անունը որպես ազգանուն:

9. Առաջին աշխարհամարտի ժամանակ այնքան շատ քաղցած գայլեր են հսկայական ոհմակով հավաքվել, որ պատերազմող Գերմանիան ու Ռուսաստանը ստիպված են եղել ստեղծել ժամանակավոր միություն նրանց դեմ պայքարելու համար:

10. Կոլումբացի նարկոբարոն Պաբլո Էսկոբարը նախքան 1993-ին սպանվելն իր կալվածքում պահել է 4 գետաձի: Հետագայում գետաձիերը բազմացել են ու փախել այնտեղից ՝ Կոլումբիայի համար դառնալով շատ վտանգավոր արարածներ:
