The Biggest Loser դիետայի անվանումը առաջացել է համանուն հեռուստատեսային շոուից, որում հերոսները մրցում են իրար հետ, թե ով ավելի շատ կնիհարի: 2015-ին ամերիկյան դիետոլոգների միությունն այս դիետան համարեց ամենաանվտանգ եւ օգտակար դիետաներից մեկը։ Իսկ ինչ է այն իրենից ենթադրում։
Մթերքի կալորիականության թիվը որոշվում է մարդու քաշով. այսինքն՝ անհրաժեշտ է քաշը բազմապատկել է 15.5-ով: Օրինակ եթե 70 կգ ես կշռում, ուրեմն ցանկալի է, որ կալորիաների քանակը օրական մոտավորապես 1100 կկալ կազմի: Հենց մարդը սկսում է նիհարել, կալորիաները նույնպես պետք է վերահաշվարկել: Վերահաշվարկը պետք է անել ամեն շաբաթ: Ընդ որում օրական կալորիաների 50 տոկոսը ածխաջրածիններից է, 20 տոկոսը՝ ճարպերից ու 30 տոկոսը՝ սպիտակուցային ածխաջրածիններից:
Պարտադիր է նաեւ ֆիզիկական ակտիվությունը՝ 30 րոպե լողավազանում, կամ 30 րոպե արագ քայլք օրվա ընթացքում, կամ էլ շաբաթական 3 ժամ մարզումներ մարզասրահում:
Մթերքը անհրաժեշտ է համատեղել որոշակի չափաբաժիններով: Օրինակ՝ օրվա ընթացքում պետք է ուտել բանջարեղենի ու մրգի չորս չափաբաժին, երեք չափաբաժին սպիտակուցային սնունդ, երկու չափաբաժին ամբողջական հատիկներից պատրաստված սնունդ, մեկ չափաբաժին էլ դիետոլոգները հատկացնում են «մնացած ամեն ինչին»:
Կարեւոր է. կալորիաները դու կարող ես բաշխել ըստ քո հայեցողության: Ավելի կալորիական միրգ, նվազ կալորիական բանջարեղեն, կամ ավելի ճարպոտ միս, նվազ կալորիական միրգ:
Խստիվ արգելվում են մակարոնեղենը, խնձորը, հացը, կրախմալը, քացախն ու սխտորը:
Օրվա մոտավոր ճաշացանկ.
Նախաճաշ. Վարսակաշիլա կամ կաթով պատրաստված ցանկացած այլ շիլա, թեյ կամ սուրճ՝ մի գդալ մեղրով, ամբողջական հատիկների ալյուրից թխած հացով ու պանրով տոստ։
Երկրորդ նախաճաշ՝ բանան, նարինջ, խուրմա կամ տանձ, ընկույզ
Ճաշ. խյուս-ապուր՝ հավով ու բանջարեղենով, կամ ձկնապուր՝ բրոկոլիով, բանջարեղենով աղցան՝ համեմված ձիթապտղի յուղով, լոլիկի հյութ
Հետճաշիկ. Թեյ կամ հյութ, բուտերբրոդներ տոֆու պանրով
Ընթրիք՝ խորոված բանջարեղեն, սպիտակ կամ կարմիր ձկան շոգեխաշված ֆիլե, թեյ կամ չրերից կոմպոտ, մեղրով ընկույզ
