Հոկտեմբերի 31-ին կոնգրեսը կարող է վավերացնել Հայոց Ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձեւը

Վաշինգտոնում՝ Թուրքիայի դեսպանատունն ամենաբարձր մակարդակով նախաձեռնել է մոբիլիզացման արշավ՝ ընդդեմ ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի 296 բանաձեւի, որը ճանաչում է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը:
Ուղերձը պարզ է՝ «Սպանեք բանաձեւը, որը ճանաչում է հայոց ցեղասպանությունը»:
Հայաստանի Ժողովրդական Շարժումից NEWS.am-ին հայտնում են, որ թուրքական կազմակերպությունները սկսել են իրենց անդամներին նամակներ ուղարկել՝ նրանց հորդորելով անհապաղ մոբիլիզացվել ընդդեմ բանաձեւի, այն անվանելով «ատելության օրենսդրություն»:
Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի դեմոկրատները, որոնք մեծամասնություն են կազմում, հավանական է, որ հոկտեմբերի 31-ին վավերացնեն Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձեւը։ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի կանոնադրության հանձնաժողովը ամենայն հավանականությամբ կհայտարարի, որ քննարկում է բանաձեւը ընդունելու հավանականությունը: Քվեարկությունից առաջ սա վերջնական պաշտոնական ընթացակարգն է:
Ստորեւ ամբողջությամբ հրապարակում ենք Թուրքիայի դեսպանատան ուղերձը ուղղված թուրք-ամերիկացիներին. «Հորդորեք Կոնգրեսին ընդդիմանալ ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի 296 բանաձեւին՝ Թուրքիայի ժառանգությանը քրեական դատապարտման ենթարկող օրենսդրությանը, բողոքի նամակ գրեք ձեր պատգամավորին:
2019-ի ապրիլի 8-ին Ադամ Շիֆը օգնեց հայ-ամերիկյան համայնքի ազգայնական տարրերին՝ ներկայացնելով թիվ 296 բանաձեւը, որը օրենսդրական հիմք է ստեղծում, Թուրքիային եւ ամերիկացի-թուրքերին ցեղասպանության մեջ դատապարտելու համար, այն դեպքերի համար, որոնք հարյուր տարի առաջ՝ առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ընթացքում տեղի են ունեցել օսմանյան կայսրությունում:
296 բանաձեւը առաջին քայլն է զանգվածային ակցիաների, որոնց նպատակն է անցյալից եկած հսկայական պահանջների հետապնդումը եւ հողային պահանջների վերականգնումը։ Սա ուղղված է ոչ միայն Թուրքիայի, այլեւ Թուրքիայի քաղաքացիների դեմ:
Այժմ բանաձեւը Ներկայացուցիչների պալատում ունի 113 հովանավոր, որոնց մեծ մասը գալիս են Կալիֆոռնիայից, Նյու Յորքից, Նյու Ջերսիից եւ Մասաչուսեթսից, որտեղ ագրեսիվ հայկական լոբբին զբաղվում է պատմության իր ուղղափառ տեսակետի պարտադրմամբ:
Մինչ զգացմունքներն իրենց զենիթի մեջ են, Ադամ Շիֆը եւ պալատի խոսնակ Նենսի Փելոսին շահարկում են առկա հանգամանքները՝ հաջորդ շաբաթ խորհրդարանում 296 բանաձեւը քվեարկության դրնելու համար։

Մինչդեռ Կանոնադրության հանձնաժողովի նախագահ, Մասաչուսեթս նահանգի դեմոկրատական կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչ Ջիմ Մաք Գավրնը՝ նշելով, որ Ուորչեստրի շրջանում է Միացյալ Նահանգների ամենահին հայկական համայնքը, հայտարարել է. «Ես հպարտ եմ, որ Կանոնադրության հանձնաժողովը կքննարկի այդ բանաձեւը։ Ցեղասպանության չճանաչումը բիծ է մարդու իրավունքների արժենամակարգի վրա եւ շատ սխալ ուղերձ է ուղարկում ամբողջ աշխարհում մարդու իրավունքները ոտնահարողներին»:
