Հետազոտություններն ավելի շատ ապացույցներ են գտել, որ սուրճը կարող է օգտակար լինել: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է Past.am-ը, կանոնավոր կերպով սուրճ ըմպող մարդիկ ավելի քիչ են հիվանդանում մի շարք հիվանդություններով՝ շաքարախտից մինչև սրտի հիվանդություն: Օրական մոտ 5 բաժակը առավելագույն քանակությունն է:

Առանց կոֆեինի սուրճը նույնպես օգտակար է: Նույնիսկ չափազանց շատ սուրճ օգտագործելը չի կարող համեմատվել ծխախոտի վնասակարության հետ:

 

Ինչպես հայտնել է հետազոտությանը աջակցած պրոֆեսոր Ֆրենկ Հուն, հիմնական իմաստն այն է, որ օրական 3-5 բաժակ սուրճը (կոֆեին պարունակող, թե առանց դրա), մահացության շատ ցածր ռիսկ է պարունակում: Եզրակացությունն արվել է հստակ փաստերի հիման վրա: Մոտ 200.000 բժիշկ ու բուժքույր 20 տարի շարունակ տեղյակ են պահել իրենց ուտելու, մնացած կենսական սովորությունների և առողջական վիճակի մասին:

 

Պարզվել է, որ սուրճ խմողների մոտ ավելի քիչ է մահացության մակարդակը, քան չխմողների: Տոկոսի չափը կախված է օգտագործված սուրճի քանակությունից: «Սա լավ նորություն է սուրճի սիրահարների համար, որովհետև փաստը ակնհայտ է: Սուրճ խմելը կարող է օգտակար լինել առողջությանը»,- ասել է Հուն: Նա ավելացրել է, որ մարդիկ պետք է ուշադիր լինեն նաև սուրճի մեջ շաքարավազ լցնելիս, որովհետև դրա քանակությունը կարող է խնդիր դառնալ:

 

Ինչո՞վ է սուրճն օգտակար առողջությանը: Այն կարող է մարդկանց օգնել բուժվել հաստ աղիքի ուռուցքից, պակասեցնել շաքարախտով հիվանդանալու ռիսկը և շաքարախտի ու սրտի հիվանդությունների հետ կապված բարդացումները: «Հիմնական հաղորդագրությունը այն է, որ մարդիկ, ովքեր հաճույք են ստանում սուրճ խմելուց, չպետք է անհանգստանան, որ այն կարող է վնասակար լինել: Սուրճը նույնիսկ օգտակար է նրանց առողջության համար»,- նշել է Մինեսոտայի Մայոյի կլինիկայի սրտաբաններից մեկը:
