Երբ գնում է նպարեղենի խանութ, մսի համար բամբակե պայուսակներ կամ տոպրակներ է վերցնում մսագործից: Ռոուդսը հավատում է, որ սա կենսաձև է: Վերամշակումը ընդամենը վիրակապ է, ոչ թե լուծում: Սկզբում նա որոշ դժվարությունների է հանդիպել, բայց արդեն ոչ մի խնդիր չի ունենում: Արդյունքում նա խնայել է փողը, նիհարել է և վերականգնել մաշկը: Նա չի գնում հագուստ, որը բնական հումքից չէ, փորձում է ամեն ինչ վերաօգտագործել: «Ուշադրություն դարձրեք՝ ինչ եք նետում աղբարկղը և ուղղակի տետրում գրեք, թե ինչ այլընտրանքներ կարող եք դրանից պատրաստել»,- ասել է նա:
