Հերպեսը աշխարհում ամենատարածված հիվանդություններից մեկն է. մոլորակի բնակչության առնվազն երկու երրորդը վարակված է դրանով: Այդուհանդերձ, մարդկանց մեծ մասին քիչ բան է հայտնի այս հիվանդության մասին, դրա համար էլ ժողովրդի մեջ դրա մասին բազմաթիվ առասպելներ ու թյուրընկալումներ կան:

NEWS.am Medicineխմբագրությունը Ձեր ուշադրությանն է ներկայացնում մի քանի հետաքրքիր փաստ հերպեսի մասին.

1.Հերպեսը ծայրաստիճան վարակիչ է

Հերպեսը շատ վարակիչ է ու փոխանցվում է բոլոր հնարավոր ձեւերով՝ օդակաթիլային (հազ, փռշտոց ու նույնիսկ սովորական զրույց) կոնտակտային (համբույր, ընդհանուր սպասքի, կոսմետիկայի գործածում, դռների բռնակներին դիպչել) ու իհարկե նաեւ սեռական ճանապարհով: Հնարավոր է նաեւ մորից երեխա վարակի փոխանցումը ծննդաբերության ժամանակ կամ էլ ներարգանդային զարգացման ժամանակ:

2.Հերպեսը ամենեւին էլ մրսածության դրսեւորում չէ

Շատերը հերպեսն անվանում են «մրսածություն», կամ «մրսածության հետեւանք շրթերի վրա», բայց իրականում հերպեսը ոչ մի կապ չունի մրսածության հետ: Հերպեսն ինքնուրույն հիվանդություն է, որի հարուցիչը 1-ին կամ 2-րդ տեսակի հասարակ հերպեսի վիրուսն է: Այդ վիրուսով վարակված է մարդկանց մեծ մասը, բայց սովորաբար այն քնած վիճակում է գտնվում ու ակտիվանում է միայն մրսելիս, սթրեսի , գերհոգնածության, խրոնիկ հիվանդությունների սրման կամ էլ այլ պատճառներով իմունիտետի նվազման ժամանակ:

3. Հերպեսը անհնար է բուժել

Ժամանակակից բժշկությունը առայժմ չի կարող հերպեսի վիրուսը հեռացնել օրգանիզմից: Հակավիրուսային դեղամիջոցները, որոնք օգտագործում են հիվանդության սրման ժամանակ, միայն ագելափակում են վիրուսի բազմացումը ու նպաստում հերպեսային խոցերի արագ ապաքինմանը: Բայց ինքը վիրուսը մնում է մարդու հետ ամբողջ կյանքում:

4. Պահպանակները հերպեսից 100 տոկոսանոց պաշտպանություն չեն ապահովում

Պահպանակը իրոք նվազեցնում է վտանգը, բայց հարյուրտոկոսանոց պաշտպանություն ցավոք չի ապահովում: Վիրուսի փոխանցումը միեւնույն է կարող է տեղի ունենալ մարմնի այն մասերով, որոնք պահպանակը չի փակում, կամ էլ պահպանակի հնարավոր ճեղքերի միջով:

5. Հերպեսը վտանգավոր հիվանդություն է

Շատերին թվում է, թե հերպեսը ընդամենը շրթերին առաջացած տհաճ ցանն է, բայց իրականում հերպեսը երկրորդ տեղն է զբաղեցնում վիրուսային ինֆեկցիաներից մահացության ցուցանիշով, զիջելով միայն գրիպին ու ՍՇՎԻ-ն: Տեսականորեն հերպեսը կարող է հայտնվել ամենուրեք, որտեղ նյարդային հյուսվածք կա, հետեւաբար ցանկացած օրգանում: Ընդհանուր ու տեղական իմունիտետի նվազման դեպքում հերպեսային բորբոքումը կարող է զարգանալ նաեւ բերանի ու կոկորդի լորձաթաղանթում, աչքի կոնյուկտիվում, ավշային հանգույցներում, ներքին սեռական օրգանների վրա, աղիներում, լյարդում, երիկամներում, թոքերում ու կենտրոնական նյարդային համակարգում: Եթե հիվանդությունը ախտահարում է գլխուղեղը՝ հիվանդը ամենայն հավանականությամբ մահանում է, կամ էլ հաշմանդամ է դառնում:
