Ատոմային էներգիայի միջազգային գործակալության (ԱԷՄԳ) Գլխավոր համաժողովի 64-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը հանդիպել է ԱԷՄԳ գլխավոր տնօրեն Ռաֆայել Մարիանո Գրոսսիի հետ: Այս մասին հայտնեցին ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարարությունից:

Շնորհավորելով նրան ԱԷՄԳ գլխավոր տնօրենի պաշտոնը ստանձնելու կապակցությամբ և մաղթելով բեղմնավոր գործունեություն՝ նախարար Պապիկյանը կարևորել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և ԱԷՄԳ-ի համագործակցության հետագա զարգացումը, ինչպես նաև ԱԷՄԳ-ի կողմից Հայաստանում իրականացվող ծրագրերի շարունակականության ապահովումը:

 Անդրադառնալով ՀՀ-ում ատոմային էներգետիկայի զարգացման ուղղություններին և հեռանկարներին նախարար Պապիկյանն ընդգծել է, որ ՀՀ կառավարության համար Հայաստանի էներգետիկ անվտանգության ապահովումը` որպես ռազմավարական առաջնահերթություն, ամրագրված է ՀՀ անվտանգության ռազմավարությունում ։

«Հայկական ատոմային էլեկտրակայանի նախագծային շահագործման ժամկետի երկարացման ծրագիրը գտնվում է ՀՀ կառավարության խիստ ուշադրության ներքո և կատարվում է Ատոմային Էներգիայի Միջազգային Գործակալության պահանջների և կանոնակարգերի խստիվ պահպանմամբ:

Հայաստանի համար Ատոմային էներգիայի միջազգային գործակալությունն առանձնահատուկ նշանակություն ունի որպես ատոմային էլեկտրակայան շահագործող երկիր,- նշել է նախարար Պապիկյանը։

Նախարարը գոհունակություն է հայտնել ԱԷՄԳ-ի հետ համագործակցության շրջանակում միջուկային էներգետիկայի խաղաղ օգտագործմանն ուղղված միջոցառումների կապակցությամբ և հույս հայտնել, որ անվտանգության բարձրացման աշխատանքների շրջանակներում կազմակերպության հետ համագործակցությունը էլ ավելի կընդլայնվի։

Միաժամանակ նախարար Պապիկյանը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Հայկական ԱԷԿ-ի նկատմամբ Ադրբեջանի կողմից հնչեցված սպառնալիքի վերաբերյալ, նշելով, որ Հայաստանը դիտարկում է այն որպես արժանահավատ սպառնալիք:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են նաև ԱԷՄԳ կողմից մշակվող «ԶՈԴԻԱԿ» ծրագրին, որի նպատակն է՝ ամբողջ աշխարհում վետերինար լաբորատորիաների ստեղծման, վերազինման և միջուկային տեխնոլոգիաների կիրառման միջոցով մարդկանց շրջանում կենդանական ծագման վիրուսների տարածման վերահսկումն ու կանխարգելումը: Բարձր է գնահատվել նաև ԱԷՄԳ աջակցությունը՝ COVID-19 համավարակի դեմ պայքարում՝ RT-PCR սարքի և լրացուցիչ սարքավորումների տրամադրման միջոցով։

Հանդիպման ավարտին նախարար Պապիկյանը ԱՄԷԳ գլխավոր տնօրեն Գրոսսիին հրավիրել է Հայաստան։
