Դեռ վերջերս աշխարհահռչակ շեֆ-խոհարար Ջեյմի Օլիվերը հաղթեց արագ սննդի սպասարկման աշխարհի ամենախոշոր ցանցի դեմ դատական հայցը։ Շեֆ-խոհարարը բացահայտել էր սարսափելի ճշմարտությունն այն մասին, թե ինչից է իրականում պատրաստվում «МcDonald՝s»-ի համբուրգերների ու նագեթսների համեղ միսը։
Ջեյմսի բացահայտումներից հետո «McDonald՝s»-ի ուտեստները չի կարելի սնունդ անվանել։ Համբուրգերների, մակերի և նմանատիպ այլ սննդամթերքի բաղադրության մեջ օգտագործվող միսը պատրաստվում է տավարի լվացած ճարպից, իսկ լվանում են այն ամենասովորական ամոնիումի հիդրօքսիդով։ Եթե չիրականացվեր այս գործընթացը, ապա, խոհարարի խոսքերի համաձայն, դրա համը ոչ թե պարզապես զզվելի կլիներ, այլև դրա տեսքը նույնիսկ չէր բավարարի մոլորակի ամենազզվելի անցքերում հայտնվելու համար։
Օլիվերի խոսքերի համաձայն՝ ռեստորանային ցանցը վերցնում է այն մթերքը, որը նույնիսկ շները չեն ուտում և այն վերամշակում մարդու օգտագործման համար։
Ինչևէ, այս պատմության մեջ ոչ միայն խաբեության փաստն է սարսափելի, այլև այն, որ ամոնիումի հիդրօքսիդը թունավոր է մարդկային օրգանիզմի համար։ Մթերքին ամբողջական տեսք տալու համար օգտագործվում են նաև ներկանյութեր։
Հարցազրույցի ժամանակ Օլիվերը ցուցադրել է, թե ինչպես են ճարպից, կաշվից ու ներքին օրգաններից արագ սննդի պատրաստման համար օգտագործվող միս ստանում և հարց է ուղղել.
Ինչո՞ւ պետք է բանական մարդն իր երեխաներին սնի ամոնիումով հագեցած մսով։
