Wnews.am-ը ներկայացնում է հայ մեծանուն կոմպոզիտոր Առնո Բաբաջանյանի որդու ընտանիքը։
Կոմպոզիտորի որդին դերասան, երգիչ Արաիկ Բաբաջանյանն է։ Նա ծնվել է 1953թ. դեկտեմբերի 11-ին, Երևանում: Ավարտել է Մոսկվայի Թատերական արվեստի պետական ինստիտուտի երաժշտական թատրոնի դերասանի և ռեժիսուրայի ֆակուլտետները, որից հետո եղել է Կ.Օրբելյանի ղեկավարած Հայաստանի պետական էստրադային նվագախմբի մենակատար:
Աշխատել է նաև «Հայհամերգ», «Ռուսհամերգ», «Մոսհամերգ» միավորումներում: 1976թ. Գերմանիայի հեռուստատեսային մրցույթի, 1981թ.` քաղաքական երգի փառատոնի ժամանակ դարձել է դափնեկիր: 1970-ականներին նկարահանվել է «Անցիր շեմը», «Տաք ձյուն», «Հարսնացուն հյուսիսից», «Եկել ենք խոհարարական մրցույթի» ֆիլմերում:
1990թ-ից հանդիսանում է «Առնո Բաբաջանյանի հիշատակին» հիմնադրամի նախագահը: 2006թ-ից ՌԴ Ակադեմիայի պաշտպանության, անվտանգության հարցերի ակադեմիկոս է:
